"The love birds are finally here!" Harry exclaimed rather enthusiastically while standing up, "Hey mate." I replied, pulling him into a side hug.

"Hey Ree, you look great. By the way, this is my fiancé, Camille. Isn't she lovely?" He said while looking at Camille dreamily.

"Hey, nice to meet you Camille. And yes Harry, she is." Renee said while hugging Camille.

"How about you guys head back to the couch while we get our drinks, yeah?" Camille said as we nodded, "Be careful, I love you." I whispered to Ree as she nodded and mouthed back the words 'I love you too'.

"Let's go mate." Harry said, leading me back to the couch.

"I'll be having a glass of whiskey, what about you?" Cami asked. "One tequila sunrise please." I replied. "You hear the lady." Cami ordered the bartender.

"So, how are you? I missed you so much." I asked, holding her hands.

"I've never been better, well I missed you too. Look at you, you look more gorgeous than ever." She exclaimed grinning excitedly as we received our drinks.

"That's good to hear. Likewise Cami." I replied.

"Let's head back to the couch, shall we." She said while standing up.

"I'll be back, I'll be just using the restroom." I said as she nodded.

I pushed through a sea of people to get to the restroom, as I was about to push the door open somebody suddenly grabbed me pointed a gun to my head. I froze on the spot. I didn't know what to do. "Be quiet and nothing bad will happen. Get it?" The guy said whilst I nodded, shaking. "Good girl. You know if you only picked me and not that bastard, Zayn, none of this would've happened." The guy chuckled. What? No. Can he be.. Oh my god.

Flashback

"Ree, I have to tell you something."

"Really? What is it?"

"I love you, Ree.. I love you.."

"I-I'm sorry, Josh. I can't return those feelings. I-I'm in love with someone else already, I'm in love with Zayn. I'm sorry." I said while standing up to leave the café.

End of flashback

"Do you remember now? You left me Ree, you left me there, I was devastated, and it's all your fucking fault. Now, you're going to pay for it!" Josh screamed furiously while reloading the gun. "Hey Ree-Hey, who are you? What are you doing to her?" Cami screamed. "What? No hello? How impolite of you, I never took you as that kind of girl. And you were not supposed to know me so, yeah. You really don't." Josh said smirking as Cami had a confused expression on her face. "You are about to witness me, about to take her life away. See, she chose to break my heart and now I'm going to break Zayn's heart just like what she did to me." He added.

"Please, stop this madne-" Cami said but got cut off by Josh, "No! I'm not crazy! She broke my heart and If I can't have her, nobody can't!" Josh said, pulling the trigger as I felt pain spread into my stomach. Everything was blurred, all I can feel was, pain. Pain. Pain.

"Hey, mate. So you're really going to propose to her tonight, huh?" Harry questioned me. "Yeah. I really love Renee, she's my life, I don't know what will happen to me if I ever lose her." I answered with all honesty as he simply nodded. We are currently at Harry's night club, him and Camille were the ones that helped me on planning my proposal for Renee, while Niall and Claudette were the ones who gave me advices. Luckily, it helped.

As of now, we are still waiting for Louis, Eleanor, Liam and Sophia to arrive so we can start our plan. We talked for a little more then my thoughts suddenly wandered off to Renee, where the hell is she? She's been gone for 20 minutes already and I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this. So I stood up and I started looking for Renee but suddenly I heard gunshots being fired. People started screaming and making their way out of the club, so I started running and pushing through the sea of people. I needed to find Renee as soon as possible.

"Zayn!!" I heard a voice calling me from a distance, I followed the voice and I froze in my spot as soon as I saw my angel's lifeless body laying on the ground.

"What happened, Camille? Tell me!" I screamed while rushing to Nicole's side. "I-I don't know! We were just about to walk back to but then someone pulled Renee away and the next thing I knew, she was lying on the ground with a puddle of blood surrounding her.." She answered with a trembling voice and teary eyes. I looked behind her and saw the group approaching us. "Shit, what happened?! Call the medics, now!" Liam ordered Camille.

"Ree, please stay awake. Please. Just... Stay with me, baby.." I whispered as I held her body close to mine. My vision is already starting to get blurry, tears were flowing rapidly on my cheeks. Why did this even have to happen?

Everything was perfect, for once in my life, I was happy.

But I guess the world decided to turn the tables on me. "Shh.. Zayn, I-I'm here. I'll stay with you, o-okay? We'll get through this together. I-I love you.." She whispered, trying to stay awake but all I can see is the life in her eyes slowly starting to fade into view.

"N-no! Ree, don't leave me. You're the only thing that I have, without you, I'm nothing. Please.. I love you.." Renee held my hands and kept it close to her chest. "The medics are about to arrive, just hold on Zayn. Okay? We can do this." Liam told us as I nodded, but all I know is that it's a little too late to save my angel. The next thing I knew, we were in the hospital, weeping and praying. Renee is now under operation, they needed to get the bullet out of her now. She was shot below her left rib cage and she had a concussion.

My head snapped up to see the doctor with a sympathetic look on her face, at first I didn't know what was she trying to say then it hit me. My angel is gone, forever, the only thing that I have and held on to. I felt sadness, pain, anger and regret. I felt the weight of the world on my shoulder. Out of all the people in the world, why her? Why me? She was my life, but you took her from me..

I was still, staring into thin air, wishing, hoping and dreaming that this was just all a dream. That I would wake up and still see her, here with me. But I guess it wasn't. Everything hurt. Physically and mentally. I was scared of losing her, yes. But I know indeed, that I was fearing something inevitable.

Hello, I'm back! :) I'm very sorry for not updating for so long. I really am. I'm currently having my summer break and I guess I'll be updating more since I'm not that busy. So yeah. I hope you liked this chapter. 4 votes/comments for an update.
