The fastest courtship upon record occurred during the markedly wet season of 1804, when miss mary leopold secured a betrothal over a plate of sugared almonds and licorice in just four and a half minutes. Ofcourse Miss leopold and her new husband would leave London mere hours after their wedding. Reason unknown. Of all hat I have imparted to you dear reader, there is one bit of wisdom you must heed most. One can never know the truth of a marriage behind closed doors. Beware indeed, blushing newlyweds. You know not the future that awaits you. Will there be hardship...or indignity or will ones future see the rarest accomplishment of all, a true love match? As for which of these dates await the wager matches of the season of 1813, only two things will tell...time, and, as always, this author.

"You are not to go near that beville anymore" Anthony warns. 'Good god Anthony you are not my brother nor are you my husband' I complain looking up at him from my book as he comes to sit beside me "I am only looking out for you. He is not the man everyone says he is" he states slightly raising his voice. 'Anthony Bridgerton! The man was simply talking to me as I was left alone he was simply asking if I was courting any of the Bridgerton boys, to which I said no, and rightfully so. But Anthony if you are to act like a husband marry first!" I rant not realising how close our faces were until I took a breath. His hand hesitantly made its way to my cheek looking between my eyes and my lips pulling away slightly 'we shouldn't you are- we are-" he stutters his voice low 'it is not like I have never kissed anyone' I whisper. His eyebrows furrow 'I'm going to ask about that later' he mumbles before closing the space between us, his Lips gently placed on mine his hand on my jaw and mine going behind his neck my fingers grabbing onto the ends of his hair hearing him grunt at that only made me more eager, that was u til the both of us were interrupted when benedict came bursting into the room. Anthony and I pulling apart quickly. 'I saw nothing. I seen nothing' Benedict gasps looking at the ceiling 'now tell me you two are not to marry I cannot handle any more engagements" benedict jokes 'no just a friendly kiss.' I giggle although Anthony looked shocked. "Friendly? Is that what that was?" Benedict looks down awkwardly and slowly makes his way out the door. 'Did you wish for it to be more?' I ask quietly pulling his hand into my own laying them on my lap
'I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, sharing a moment like that with a lady with no other intentions is not something I'd ever planned to do' he says his voice soft 'then we shall see what your intentions truly are mr Bridgerton.' I smile softly.

A few minutes after our talk the rest of the Bridgerton family joined us in the art room, benedict smirking and making faced toward me and Anthony. Anthony who was absentmindedly still holding into my hand "aunt Winnie has sent word. Francesca will be arriving home tomorrow." Lady Bridgerton announces 'perhaps she can tell us of time we'll spent far from London' Colin inputs. 'Certainly has been and eventful season, what with daphne and the duke, Anastasia, and then anthony and- yes well. Never mind" Lady Bridgerton finishes as everyone's eyes glance at Anthony and I. That wasn't awkward at all

'I have made a decision. The duke and I are going our separate ways' daphne informs me and her mama. She had filled me in on everything the duke and her had been up to aswell as his lies and dishonesty'it is for the best, truly.' She assures violet when she looks unsure. "I know I do not always say the right things, and then the things I do say, well...they are not always what you wish to hear. I am only able to offer you what I know. However difficult forgiving someone may be, it is necessary to move forward." Violet advises 'I agree, the duke may have done or said things he did not mean. But maybe hear him out, maybe he had a good enough reason' I agree. "That is not up to me, the duke is choosing to nurture some grudge against his father instead of allowing himself any kind of happiness. However am I supposed to forgive that?however are we supposed to move forward from there?" She rants before being interrupted by lady featherington, and surprisingly going with them when mr crane showed up for marina.
