Emma sat down beside Rebekah and sighed
"I thought we were going to the masquerade ball but he's ditched me"
Emma said annoyed. Rebekah put an arm around Emma and hugged her.
"Why cry over a boy when you have me as a best friend? You're too good for either of the brothers" Klaus sat down beside Rebekah and laughed a little.
"God Klaus. I get it you hate me but if all you want to do is make me feel worse then just go away"
Emma said wiping a tear away from her eyes. Klaus looked at Rebekah and rolled his eyes
"I'm sorry Emma"
Klaus said as he stood up and walked away. Emma looked at Klaus walking away and smiled a little. Rebekah looked at Emma and they stood up and went to Rebekah's room and they talked. Emma told Rebekah everything and she then took her dress off and put her pyjamas on and she laid down on Rebekah's bed and Rebekah laid beside her.
"I get it Emma."
Rebekah said smiling. Emma smiled at Rebekah and she sat up. Emma looked at Rebekah
"You know who my sister is but still you're friends with me. Why? I thought you all hated Elena"
Emma said confused looking at Rebekah. Rebekah smiled before saying
"Because I'm a bloody fool, or maybe I just like the idea of us girls sticking together"
Emma smiled at Rebekah and hugged her again. Rebekah looked at Emma before saying
"I'm going to get in the bath. You can stay here tonight Emma"
Emma smiled and watched Rebekah leave before she smiled to herself. Klaus knocked on Rebekah's door and Emma answered it
"It's you"
Klaus said disgusted
"You know you love me klaus"
Emma said joking around trying to annoy Klaus.
"Maybe I do. What would you do about it?"
"You hate me. Stop trying to annoy me Klaus"
"I don't hate you Emma"
"Yes you do"
"No Emma I love you"
"Stop lying"
"I'm lying?"
Klaus smiled at Emma and vamp sped over to her and kissed her on the cheek before he vamp sped out. Emma laid down on Rebekah's bed again and she fell asleep. The next morning Emma woke up and walked downstairs and grabbed a bottle of bourbon and poured herself a glass and she sat down and drank it. Klaus walked in and she stood up. Klaus is hanging up his cell phone while Emma stands with her drink watching the fireplace
"You are free to go. Or stay."
Klaus said smiling at Emma
" I could be persuaded to stay, enjoy some of the good life. And maybe I could drum up a few more of Katherine's secrets and you could do something for me."
Emma said smiling back at Klaus
"Oh, I'm sorry, love"
"Well, then".
"Do you wanna know why I like that painting?"
Emma added
"Well, perhaps it was because it allowed you to see into my deep, wounded soul."
"I saw how twisted it really is."
She bites her lip.
"And maybe I can relate."
"So what's it gonna be? Going? Or staying?"
" You like to be in control. You tell me."
Klaus and Emma walked close to each other. Klaus brushed his hand against Emma's cheek before grabbing her to him and she grins. They start kissing and Emma pulls Klaus's shirt over his head. Klaus vamp-speeds her up onto the table and she tears her own shirt over her head. Klaus pushes her down flat onto the table, then mounts her and kisses her neck while she gasps and moans underneath him. Emma is sitting on the edge of a bed, fastening her bra.
"Running away, gorgeous?"
Klaus said and Emma smiles a bit but doesn't say anything. Emma stood up and waved to Klaus before she left. Klaus smiled to himself and he got out of his bed. Later on Emma was walking around in the woods thinking to herself and she bumped into Klaus.
"I want your confession."
He said smiling at Emma
"My confession? I didn't do anything. Confession about what?"
Emma said looking confused at Klaus
"Me. I just want you to be honest with me."
"I will be honest with you about what I want."
Emma slowly approaches Klaus. As she comes within inches of his face. She begins kissing him slowly at first. And then, they begin to kiss very passionately. Klaus vamp speeds Emma against a tree and they start undressing one another. It was dark and Emma smiled at Klaus and she kissed him. Klaus smiled at her and then he said
"Are you going to be an item or just friends with benefits?"
Emma laughed a little and she said
"An item."
Emma kissed Klaus again before she left to tell Rebekah. Rebekah smiled at the news that Emma and Klaus were now dating.
