I love her more

Leoni walked down the stairs to lockup wanting to meet with her former mentor before she sentenced the woman to death. The guards opened the door for their commander and Leoni was met with Indra praying
"Wow after all this time you still know how to pray" Leoni gave a humourless laugh

"Desperate times call for desperate measures" Indra grumbled before standing up and turning to face the girl that was once her pride and joy

"So that's what we're calling my rule now are we? Desperate?" Leoni asked sarcastically
"There was a time that I respected you more than I respected myself but then you betrayed me and my best friend so here we are" Leoni glared at the woman in front of her cockily

"What happened Leok?" Indra asked trying to play on her emotions
"I remember when you loved your job. Loved your people-"

"I do love my people more than anything that's why I'm doing all of this" Leoni fought back

"You used to love your job" Indra repeated and Leoni stayed quiet. It wasn't a lie that the flame felt like a burden to the girl

"I do my job with pride and honour." She replied
"Unlike you" she added darkly

"I have always done what I know to be true" Indra defended

"And that included letting Octavia suffer?" The commander questioned cockily

"Yes" the war chief shrugged
"It did"

"Here me now and here me well Indra" Leoni growled walking closer
"i will lead my army to war the second your fight is over so you won't be there. I fully intend on being mrs Blake one day and you won't stand in the way of that understand?" Leoni smiled sarcastically. Her playful evilness was coming back. She didn't feel so empty anymore

"We'll see" Indra replied, narrowing her eyes

"I wish I could say it was nice knowing you but I'm not sure it was. Kidra always had her doubts on your loyalty...by 25 I should've learned never to differ from her opinion" Leoni sneered before going to leave

"If you plan on your oh so precious Bellamy surviving that means 2 must die. Killing Lexa's love? Not even Gaia will forgive that." Indra shouted making Leoni freeze
"It takes a certain kind of someone to win the heart of a natblida you of all people should know that" the woman told her calmly. Leoni didn't dare turn around.

"I do know that...because I was that someone first" she responded shakily but held her head up high before storming out, not giving Indra the opportunity for any more last words. Next on the hit list was Clarke. Leoni scratched at her knuckles through her gloves nervously as the door opened and she stepped inside the cell

"Leoni!" Clarke greeted as she got to her feet from where she was sitting

"Stay there" Leoni held up a hand to stop the girl from coming to hug her
"I'm just gonna say my piece then leave" she nodded reassuring herself more than Clarke
"My sister loved you. It was no lie that I had my doubts but I brushed them aside because I trust Lexa more than I trust myself." Leoni started
"You loved her too. Maybe the only other living person in the universe that can understand a fraction of what she means to me. Your love for her is the only reason I haven't killed you! How much love you had for her is the reason I keep trusting you!" tears started to well in both girl's eyes
"But I love her more" Leoni's tone turned dark
"I always have. So as of 40 minutes from now I will be the only living person who loves her." Clarke's face dropped entirely
"She was my soulmate Clarke and as much as Ive tried not to pin this on you the truth still remains, it's you're fault I'm the one leading the war and not her. You're the reason Titus was in that room with your gun so although he pulled the trigger I will forever blame you for taking my sister away from me" Leoni's voice trembled and Clarke had started crying
"I don't particularly want you to die but I want Bellamy to live. So this is goodbye" Leoni said before trying to leave
