Lady Gaga blasted through the sound system as Leoni stood over the stove, dancing as she cooked breakfast on a frying pan.
"Leoni it's 7 in the morning! way too early for Lady Gaga!" Maddie groaned as she stumbled into the kitchen rubbing her eyes
"that's where you're wrong my sweet gona" Leoni grinned looking over at the young girl as she plunked herself down at the kitchen island "it's never too early for Gaga" Leoni smiled. she leaned over to kiss Maddie on the head and then placed a plate of stacked pancakes, maple syrup and bacon
"Well this is a treat" Maddie smiled widely "What's the occasion?" The child asked as she cut off a square and shoved it in her mouth
"Lexa's birthday" Leoni said as she poured a cup of coffee for herself. She turned around, leaning on the counter so she faced Maddie while she sipped at the hot, almost black, liquid in her mug
"You ok?" Maddie asked carefully as she ate
"It's been 6 years...I'm pretty ok" Leoni assured "How are your legs after yesterday?" Leoni asked. She'd been training Maddie to be a world class fighter which she was already turning into
"Not too bad." The blue eyed, raven haired girl shrugged
"Good cause we're nearly out of meat so you're coming with me to the market, i hope you saved some of your allowance cause i hear Chloe's pronging back eclairs" Leoni ruffled up Maddie's hair
"no mum i spent it all you have to lend me money please please-" Maddie's begging was cut off by a new arrival
"Mmm I smell pancakes! Who's birthday is it?" Luna hummed as she entered the room, kissing Maddie's head before falling into the stool beside her
"Lexa's" Maddie answered
"You ok?" Luna asked Leoni as the girl placed a plate in front of her
"Guys" Leoni looked at them both as if it say 'seriously?'
"How long were you guys up last might I heard the tv on for ages" Maddie asked
"Webinged Gilmore Girls again" Leoni shrugged and the teenager in front of her dropped her cutlery and gave her a look of disappointment "What?" Leoni asked defensively as she pulled her hair into a high ponytail
"You're 25 and 27 years old and spend your nights eating cereal and rewatching the same show over and over again. why don't you go out! live a little! you guys built New-Polis for a reason!" Maddie shook her head at her 2 mothers
"Dean deserved better" Leoni protested
"That's not an excuse" Maddie laughed
"Damn right it's not an excuse when we all know that Rory and Jess were endgame!" Luna argued jokingly
