"how are you?" Bellamy asked as he supported his girlfriend down the corridor, eager to catch Leoni's gaze. she looked up at him letting the boy meet her eyes and smiled
"fine" Leoni lied. she was not fine. her gut hurt like hell.
"don't lie to me" Bellamy sighed
"what do you want me to say? it hurts!" Leoni shrugged clinging onto Bellamy tighter as they walked
"it's more than that though" Bellamy looked away from the girl and back to the front "you killed a lot of people."
"i wanted to to kill Roan! they were collateral damage and now since he's turned on the prince charming and helping us out with the fuel i won't get a good shot at him" Leoni said bitterly
"why do you want to kill Roan" Bellamy stated more than asked
"because he kidnapped you!" Leoni muttered trying not to make this into a big deal
"ok" Bellamy nodded a smirk forming on his face
"and i didn't like how close i came to loosing you" Leoni added quietly
"Remember that ring I gave you?" Bellamy whispered "And how I promised you wouldn't loose me?" Leoni nodded "When you gonna start believing me?" He smirked and kissed her temple making Leoni smile. The group got into the rover once again. Monty was warning Clarke about this that and the next thing but Leoni was too anxious to see Luna to wait any longer. Leoni sat in the back seat and sharpened one of her blades. Clarke and Bellamy got in the front seats with Bellamy in the drivers. He didn't hesitate to twist the keys and start driving. He adjusted the rear view mirror so he could see Leoni but she didn't notice. She sat there scraping her metal sword with a rock making the sharp blade glisten "Just so you know Leoni, Roan and his men are in the back with the fuel" Bellamy informs mainly so she won't freak out
"That's genius! Leave the enemy to guard the gold" Leoni laughs at the stupidity
"They're not the enemy" Clarke protested
"They tried to take over my Coalition and started war with you...how are they not the enemy" Leoni said frustratedly her strikes against her blade with the rock becoming faster and angrier
"Keep your eyes on the trees guys we don't know who's out to get us" Bellamy told the two interrupting the argument
"Out to get Clarke" Leoni corrected without looking up "I'm the commander and you're my boyfriend so they're out to get Clarke" Leoni continued and the rover went back to silence all except the scraping sound Leoni's blade made. They turned a corner in the forest road they were driving down and found a small group of Trikru warriors
"Hold on we got a situation" Bellamy said into the radio. At his words Leoni looked up. "Looks like a Trikru check point. Stay alert and don't show your weapons" Bellamy instructed. Leoni looked at her people and quickly realised this wasn't a check point at all
