My room is small. Smaller than the one in the hospital I was in. I'm so mad.
"I was so close!" I yell and I slam myself into the wall.
"I was so close to finding my parents!" I slam myself into another wall.
"Where are you?! Show yourself! Let me know where the hell you are!" I yell.
I kneel down. I cry. I grab the walkie-talkie out of my pants and press the button.
"Kal. This place isn't what I thought it was." I cry while I talk. I can't help it. "They locked me up. They think I'm infected. I need to get out of here. I'm obviously not going to make it though. I need you to finish the job for me. Find the people. Find your parents. Find my parents, for me." Millions of tears drop down my face. My face is all wet and damp.
"Kal?" I say. No answer.
"Kal?!" I cry. No answer.
I hear something. I hear yelling in the walkie-talkie.
"Kal?"
"Teressa!" He yells. "I'm in danger! Teressa!"
"Kal!" His voice cuts off. I can't hear anything.
"Kal?"
