Chapter 24

Celine's POV

I looked down slightly at Kyra.

Both of us seemed kind of surprised to see the other.

"U-umm hey Kyra I was just coming here t-to give you this"

I said awkwardly as I held out the letter that I had planned on giving to her.

She blinked a few times seeming to get over her earlier shock and looked down at the letter in my now extended hand.

She looked back up at me and my breath hitched in my throat as my eyes met hers.

She looked back down at the letter and suddenly a smile made its way to her features and she let out a small laugh.

I was entranced at her. Staring at her happy face.

Eventually her laughing quieted down before she reached into her pocket and pulled out a letter.

I looked at the letter that she had in her hand, she turned it around and sure enough the words Alpha was neatly written on the top.

"You we're going to write to me as well?"

She nodded before opening her door a little more,

"What a crazy coincidence right?"

My eyes widened, she just spoke to me.
Sure she's spoken a little before but this is the most she's ever said to just me.

"I-umm"

"Would you like to come in?"

"O-oh sure"

I walked into her room, her scent all around, it smelled sweet I could hear Aria yipping excitedly at the idea of being in our mates room.

Her room was neat and tidy.

Not much to decorate it, her walls bare and her desk filled with some essential items like pencils and a notebook.

Her closet door was shut so I couldn't see any part of that.

She patted a spot on the bed and I sat on the mattress.

She took her chair form her desk and sat down in it facing me.

"Sorry about today It was just the first thing that I could think of."

I realized the was talking about the fight from earlier.
She was probably talking about when she held me earlier.
Though to be honest I don't know why she's apologising I didn't mind.

"Don't worry I'm not bothered by it, besides you saved me,"

Kyra looked down for a moment before speaking up again.

"So what's in the letter?"

"Hmm? Oh yeah it's just thanking you for saving me and all."

"Oh well your welcome"

We were met with an awkward silence for a couple of seconds before I spoke up again.

"So umm how are y-"

"Are you ok?"

I blinked a few times

"What?"

"Sorry that was a blunt question but your face looks red and looked a little shaken up earlier,"

"Oh yeah I'm fine,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah why wouldn't I be?"
