Chapter 21

3rd POV

Kyra was happy.
She recalled the letter that she had just re-read the next morning.

She enjoyed the idea that Celine was thinking about her and she couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Her train of though was cut off however when she heard a knock at her door.

It was a special knock so she immediately knew who it was.
Kyra put the letter down and said to the others behind the door,

"Come in,"

In walked both Fallon and Ezra.

"Hey, breakfast is ready you coming?"

Fallon asked as she got farther into the room.

"Oh, yeah sure,"

Kyra looked at her alarm clock not even realizing that it was already breakfast time. Her voice not even hiding her new found excitement.
Ezra seemed to notice because he spoke up,

"What's got you all giddy this morning, you look as happy and gushy as you did when you and Fallon had that sale at the mall,"

"Hey! Those clothes were cheap and cute, you can't argue with that,"

"I don't see any point in getting all worked up over some clothes,"

Ezra countered back crossing his arms.

Fallon have him an unamused look as she looked him up and down,

"Yeah clearly,"

Fallon smirked as Kyra tried to contain her laughter.

"Hey!"

Ezra countered back but before her could say anymore Fallon spoke again,

"Well this is fun and all but I am curious as well, what's gotten you so excited, or perhaps who?"

Kyra snapped her head up as a tiny blush crept onto her cheeks.
Fallon smirked at Kyra's response.

"So what did the alpha do this time?"

"How'd you know it was Celine?"

Kyra asked and Fallon gave her, salty look,

"Oh please you've barley stopped gushing about her since the first day of school,"

Kyra nervously laughed and put her hand on the back of her head.

"Well as embarrassing as that was, your right it was Celine,"

"So what did she do?"

Fallon asked, Kyra opened her mouth to speak but Ezra cut her off,

"Did you guys kiss?"

Kyra's eyes widened, even Fallon looked surprised at the question.

"What n-no we did not, I don't think I have enough confidence for that,"

"Not yet,"

Ezra countered back and Kyra smiled at him.

"She sent me a letter,"

"A letter? What'd it say?"

"Well it was kinda formal, here you can look for yourself,"

Kyra grabbed the letter she had once held and gave it to the two to read,
Fallon and Ezra both read over the note.

"Aww that's kinda cute actually,"

Ezra responded, and Kyra smiled again at his thoughts.

"So did you write back?"
