Part 2: dinner

Elora's POV:

Kristy had finished unpacking the last box while I changed into my swimsuit, I grabbed a sweatshirt from closet the as me and  Kristy made our way out the door and across the street.

"Did you girls get finished?' Liz asked with her usual smile on her face

"Yes ma'am!" I said smiling as I put on my sweatshirt

Me and Kristy walked inside and to the kitchen, she went to the fridge and pulled out our favorite snack from when we were kids: Strawberries and whipped cream!

"I'm gonna go change but you help yourself to anything here" she said as she turned the corner and went up the stairs. I began to grab a strawberry and spray the whipped cream onto it as I looked around the kitchen.

Sam's POV:

I had just got back from band practice and was skating home on my skateboard, I slowed down as I approached my driveway, 'looks like the new neighbors moved in'. I walked inside as per usual Charlie was sat on the couch playing video games, Karen was playing with a creepy doll, David Michael way laying on the dog bed, and Kristy was wherever Kristy was.

"Hey can you get me a coke from the fridge?" Charlie asked me as I walked by

"Sure" I said making my way into the kitchen, I bumped into someone who I assumed was Kristy standing there

"Sorry-" She said turning to face me

"Lora??" I said putting my hands on her shoulders as she looked at me: she had changed quite a bit, she was taller than when I had seen her last but I still out grew her by around 6-7 inches, her hair was longer looking and her eyes were the only thing that hadn't changed  just as pretty- or nice as before

"Oh my god, Sam!" She wrapped her arms around my torso and hugged me tightly, I stood frozen for a second before hugging her back, I felt butterflies in my stomach which was weird we're friends, It might have been the fact I hadn't seen her for around 2 years, I had only really talked to her through Text or Instagram. I smiled brightly as I looked down seeing her still hugging me, did she really miss me this much?

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I made eye contact still hugging her, she looked at me and smiled her same pearly white smile that could brighten anyone's mood

"Well me and Kristy were about to go swimming, I'm just waiting for her to change into her swimsuit" She said, as if on command Kristy came into the kitchen

"Let's go E!" Kristy said pulling her away from me

"Bye Sam!" She said as Kristy pulled her out the door to the pool, I smiled as she waved goodbye

"Close your mouth you're gonna get drool all over the floor" Watson said jokingly as I looked back at him

"I was not drooling!" I said defensively and walked to the fridge

"Oh yeah sure you weren't" He said laughing slightly

"I was just yawning!" I said grabbing 4 cokes from the fridge

"So you got a thing for Kristy's friend, huh?" He asked smirking at me

"What? No, No, No. That's Elora and she isn't just Kristy's friend" I said walking into the kitchen and handing Charlie his coke

"Sam has always had a 'thing' for El even when we were kids" Charlie said standing up and opening his coke

"I have not" I said rolling my eyes and walking out to the patio where  Elora was putting her hair up into a ponytail, Kristy was inside getting towels for the two of them.
