James was currently watching a episode of "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime" while walking down the street. Due to him not paying attention while crossing the road he ended up getting struck by a moving truck.

It's been four years since my hatching, once the chieftain took me from the hatching grounds i was introduced to all the other hatchlings, two of them being Gabiru and Soaka. Now you would think all of us would get along but that is not the case. One factor is based off on how our people are separated as being scholars, caretakers, or soldiers mainly.
The tribe's caretakers are the ones that manage the hatching grounds as well as hatchlings that are parentless for various reasons. They also manage food distribution for everyone, not just hatchlings. The scholars manage our education, history, religion, and our connections to other villages.
Now soldiers do many things from hunting to guarding the chieftain and the elders but there is one thing they are all obliged to do, fight for the tribe in war. Now which did I choose? soldier but I'll explain my reason for this choice later.
The other reason I don't get along with the other hatchlings is that there is a natural hierarchy in place. Basically if your parents were well respected, so are you. Due to my birth mother not wanting a child that just appeared inside of her one day, I'm basically at the very bottom of the hierarchy by default so none of the young lizardmen wanted to approach me.
It's not all bad though because the more time away from others means I can continue making myself stronger in secret. Yes, I am keeping my strength secret currently because I don't want to have all eyes on me so I can train in peace.
Through training with [Nature manipulation] and [Geo resonance] I ended up earning [Stone manipulation] about 2 years ago. Through this skill I ended up gaining [Terraforming] 6 months later and this allows me to reshape already existing earth or plants without there being any increase or decrease in there previous weight or quality.
Now my plan is that in about seven or less years become a dragonewt before Veldora is eaten by Rimuru so that Veldora can acknowledge and name me. Why don't I just have Rimuru name me? Well because Veldora is stronger so I get more benefit from him naming me then that lovable slime and in al honestly I want to have family I can rely on in this life.
In order for this to work I need to first find Veldora, due to me being a part of him technically I can feel his presence like a compass and [Magic sense] makes that compass more accurate so I at least know the direction he is in.
A four year old lizardman is equal to a ten year old human in our peoples eyes so when I turn nine I will be considered a young adult and given the privilege of leaving the territory boarders when I wish. This is when I'll be able to find Veldora.
Now until I turn nine I'm gonna continue to train a specific weapon type as well as my skills so I can get as many skills as possible before then. Lucky for me we will start battle training in about a year so I've just got to wait until then.
