Chapter 16 [Midnight Travel]

Tatsumi's P.O.V

It was starting to get late in the evening as we traveled and i wasn't sure if it was actually safe to sleep out in the wild with Danger Beast every where.

Tatsumi:(Damn we need to find a place to stay tonight if not were gonna have to travel through out the night and i can't do that to Akame, she need's rest and so does Kurome and the other's.):"It's getting late we need to find a shelter or we'll have to travel during the night."

Wave:"If need be i'll carry Kurome around while she sleep's."

Kurome:"It's not that late, is it?"

Leone:"It's getting there, damn though what i wouldn't do for an ice cold bottle of sake right now."

Akame:"Leone, if you say one more word about sake i'll cut your tongue out of your mouth."

Yuno:"Ease up Akame, you don't have to cut anything off of her yet, right?"

Leone:"Just to be sure i'll keep my mouth shut about it."

Akame:"Good."

I could tell Akame was still pretty upset with Leone for "Faking her death" but i know that Leone didn't plan to get shot, who know's maybe if she hadn't fused with [Lionel] she would have died and that would have put an even bigger burden on her shoulder's.

Akame:"*Yawn*."

Tatsumi:"Getting tired?"

Akame:"Just a little, i can still go on."

Kurome:"I'm getting tired too."

Wave:"Come here."

Wave picked up Kurome and had her on his back as she ended up falling asleep.

Yuno:"She's so cute when she's sleepy."

Leone:"What do y'all say we stop here for the night and have a rest."

Tatsumi:"And risk getting eaten by Danger Beast? Hell no i'd rather carry this entire team on my back before i risk getting all of you killed by these thing's."

Akame:"He's right, if we stop here we have a good chance to be killed by *Yawn* Danger Beast."

Tatsumi:"Akame i think you're a bit more tired than you'd like to admit, don't worry i'll carry you."

I knelt down and she got on my back so i could carry her around while she slept.

Leone:"I'm being serious Tatsumi, we're all getting tired and soon we'll be at the mercy of the night sky and we won't know where were going."

Yuno:"Yeah, and i don't like walking around in the dark."

Wave:"I'm not sure how much longer i'll be able to hold out myself, and i brought a couple tent's with me as well."

Tatsumi:"Then it's settled we'll camp out here for the night and get started back on Nahashu's trail first thing tomorrow morning."

Leone:"That's what i'm talkin' about."

Me and Wave set Akame and Kurome down so we could put up the tent's, Leone and Yuno get fire wood for morning so we could cook something for breakfast, after all was finished being set up me and Wave got Akame and Kurome in the tent's.

Wave and Kurome would be sharing a tent, so would Leone and Yuno me and Akame were also supposed to share a tent but for some reason i couldn't sleep, i left the tent and watched the sun finish setting.

Tatsumi:(This Nahashu guy is pretty good at what he does but if i'm going to protect Akame then i'll have to throw down with him and win.)

Akame:"Tatsumi, are you okay?"

Tatsumi:"Yeah, i'm fine."

Akame:"Aren't you coming to bed?"

Tatsumi:"Maybe, i'm just having a hard time sleeping and i don't know why."

Akame:"You're probably worried about the fight with Najasho but it's okay, i promess."

Tatsumi:"I guess you're rig-Mph"

After a moment she was finally done kissing me and gave a little smile.

Akame:"Well, did you enjoy it?"

Tatsumi:"Of course, but next time i'll be the one taking you off guard."

Akame:"I'll be looking forward to it."

Tatsumi:(To be honest i feel a bit better now, maybe i can get some sleep with her.)

We both went back into our tent slept the rest of the night away.
