BEYOND FROM MANSION

I went to Doris and asked.

"Hey Doris!"

"Are we ready?"

She nodded excitedly.

"I've chosen a horror movie"

I frowned at her.

"What?"

"A horror?"

"Why don't we go with thriller or an animation?"

Doris chuckled setting up the player.

"C'mon Abel!"

"We aren't kids anymore"

"We can watch horror movies"

"Don't be scared! We're gonna watch it together"

I faked a laugh and had my seat on a bean bag.

"You're like Jen", I muttered.

Jennie flung the door open and closed it behind. She was still laughing.

"Hey Jen"

"Why are you laughing?"

"Did something happen that funny?"

She held her laugh and looked at me.

I flustered my brows at her.

"Nothing Doris!"

"Just some weird stuffs"

She winked.

Doris dimmed the lights and checked if she pulled the curtains.

Jennie sat beside me.

I rolled off my eyes over her as she was chuckling.

The movie name popped in.

"BEYOND FROM MANSION"

with an eerie sound.

Doris sat on the rocking chair taking the controller.

It was a movie about a haunted clown in a mansion. He was killing all the kids and possessed some of 'em.

Me and Jennie exchanged looks.

"Relatable"

I chuckled.

My eyes were irritating me. It burned. Apparently, I realized that I haven't rested my eyes enough.

I looked at Doris and Jennie. They were very still. Their eyes were fixed on that movie.

I pulled off the blanket and closed my eyes. I dozed off then.

Sun was shining on my face. I woke up stretching out my body. I looked at my phone. It was 11 in the morn.

I saw Jennie still sleeping beside me and Doris had left already leaving the curtain open.

I examined Jennie. She was sleeping with her mouth open. It made me laugh.

I took my phone and captured her.

*clicking sound pops*

"Shit" I muttered.

She squinted her eyes open and yawned.

I hided my phone under the blanket.

"Abel"

"You awake?"

I nodded.

"What are you doing looking at me?"

I sneaked in my blanket and chuckled.
