SOMEBODY ELSE

Someone was tapping on my face so hard.

*gasps*

I woke up from my dream. Jennie was tapping on me.

I woke up on the couch breathing heavily.

"Abel! Abel!"

"You're okay"

"I'm here with you, no biggies"

"It's nothing"

I replied hardly stuttering.

"Je..Je..Jen!"

"I..I"

"I saw Carol"

"She was outside the doo..door"

"She blamed uh..u..us for her death"

"She's gonna punish us Jennie!"

Jennie hugged me and told it was alright.

"Look up"

"It's just a dream"

"I'm here with you"

"It's not your fault"

"First, breathe"

She released me. I was sweating like I drowned in a sea.

I finally woke up mentally.

"Yeah"

"I'm okay"

"It's just a dream"

I slowly started to breathe normally.

She sat on the rocking chair in front of me.

"I'm not pretty shocked that she came in your dream too"

I frowned.

"What?"

"She came in yours too?"

"Yep, She did"

"I dreamt that she was in that giant wheel ride with Charlie"

I replied nothing but simply nodded. I looked around.

"Where's Katie?"

"She left already"

"You were too deep in your sleep to hear her"

"Jennie, I feel guilt for her death"

"I miss her badly"

Jennie couldn't help me but she sighed.

"I know right"

"I too feel the same"

"Katie was totally messed up this morn, she cried to me that she misses Carol so badly"

I checked on the wall clock.

"Dang it!"

"It's 10!"

"I already forgot my assignment due"

"I gotta go now"

Jennie slouched back on the chair.

"It's okay any way"

"Because we're gonna have our summer break in less than one week and no one cares about the assignment"

"So, no need to freak out"

I stood up from the couch stretching out.

"Yeah but yet, I gotta go home"
