(Virgil's POV)

Resting my face against the cold wall, I sigh. Begging silently for this pain to end. A light knock sounded just outside my bathroom, "Virgil? Are you alright?" I held my breath, begging for the sorrow to pause. "Yeah, I'm fine." I choked out. There was a silence before the voice cleared itself and continued, "Right. Well, Thomas is looking for you. The other's are waiting." My curiosity, thankfully, overwhelmed my sickness for a moment. "Who is this?" "It's Asa, Bud." Wonderful, doc's on my ass now. "I got it, Thank you." I know for certain I heard him sigh before the footsteps pounded loudly against the floor.

I finally found enough strength to stand, sinking down.

When I finally arrived, the conversation amongst to four stopped as I weakly stumbled over, catching myself carefully on the rail.

"Virgil, Are you feeling okay?" I heard one of them ask as I center myself. "Fine." I say, fighting fatigue.

"Virgil, come here." Thomas said. With a sigh, I lean over my railing and Thomas met me placing his hand gently on my forehead. He almost immediately removes it off shaking it in pain. "Virg, you're burning up." He says making me sigh. "How long have you been like this?" "I don't know," I put my hands in my pockets. "About a week or so...?" Everyone's eyes widen.

Suddenly my stomach hurt again, I grabbed it in pain. "I'm gonna be sick." I say, quickly sinking back into my room. I rushed into the bathroom sliding on the floor grabbing the trashcan immediately throwing up into it. I almost didn't make it. Once It finally took a break, I weakly let my head fall to the cold wall with a slightly greatful sigh. I began to shake lightly from the cold.

After a few minutes I released myself  onto the floor in agony. The cold floor felt good on my reveled skin, though it made me colder.

I had given up at this point. It had been somewhat over a week or whatever, I don't remember. I have gotten sick more times than I should. I haven't even eaten anything to even throw anything up. I'm nodding off. "Wait for Patton. Just Wait for Patton," I continued repeating to myself.

I let out a heavy, staggering breath. I finally closed my eyes for a second, enjoying the feeling of it. I opened them again remembering the goal.

It was only a few minutes later my body gave up trying, I was so weak and so cold. I closed my eyes finally giving my self relief hearing a knock at the door. I couldn't hear if anything followed that. I stood up to answer the door. Still dizzy as ever running into every possible wall on the way.

I took two steps out of the bathroom saying "Patt-" and fainted, cutting myself off. Falling limp to fatigue showing I'll never be strong enough.

I also apologize for the weird glitch with the original first chapter. I will be making the primary first chapter soon so enjoy that.

Love y'all, stay safe out there!

Peace out! (Not Mine, Thomas Say This)
