My Peace

The sun poked through the cracks of my curtains. It softly illuminated the room. The air was warm and welcoming.

The pain in my head was still there. I avoided touching the stitches and looked up.
Ethan lay in my bed perfectly, the sun resting upon his face. He was so perfect. His arm still held me tight to his body, I didn't move an inch, I was so happy just laying here even if we were sweating.

I looked around for the clock. As soon as my eyes reached it I tried to make out the time.

2:23pm

Shit

It was late

I shuffled around a little to try and grab my phone. Thankfully I didn't wake Ethan up.

   6 hours ago Sophia- Y/N I'm so so sorry :( Ethan has really told me and Vic off. I'm so sorry I wasn't looking out for you:(

Ethan had a go at them?

"Good morning bella, how's your head?" Ethan groaned, just waking from his rest

"Not bad grazie! Just have a slight headache" I softly spoke

"Let's just have a relaxing day today? Huh?"
"Sounds perfect to me!" I smiled

We both headed downstairs and was greeted by a sleeping Damiano with Sophia laying on him. We tried to be as quiet as possible considering they were probably up quite late.

Ethan made us breakfast and took it outside, I trailed behind him and sat on the outdoor seats. Ethan put the umbrella up to provide us with shade and took his own seat.
He pulled a packet of cigarettes from his pocket and slipped on in between his lips. He placed the packet down and pulled out a lighter, shielding the fag from the light breeze he lit it and inhaled the smoke.
He let it all out away from me and twisted it, offering it to me, I shook my head no and he returned it to his lips.

"Did you really have a go at Soph and Vic when they got home?" I looked up at Ethan
Ethan giggled and nodded
"If they had kept an eye on you, this wouldn't of happened"
He was right
"I know but I feel bad, they were just trying to have fun!" I responded
"Couldn't they have brought you to dance too?" He asked
Yet again he was right. I sighed in response and just continued eating my breakfast.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. Blonde floppy hair briefly covered my eyes as a head rested on mine.
Thomas
He scuffed my hair up making me giggle. Ethan shot up
"Hey! She has stitches, can you be careful please!" Thomas put his arms back around my shoulders and shot Ethan a confused look.
"Sorry Y/N. Did I hurt you?" He said before resting his head on mine and rubbing my shoulders
"Nope! You're ok" I laughed
"What's wrong with you lover boy?" Thomas asked before taking a seat next to Ethan
"Nothing, I just want to make sure Y/N doesn't get hurt anymore" Ethan whispered

Thomas and I both looked at each other while I blushed intensely. I put my hand under the table and rubbed Ethans leg.

Later that day when everyone had finally woken up, Vic and Soph both apologised to me. I brushed it off completely because I understand they were having a good time. We had a little group hug and got over the night.

Victoria and I were talking about my passion for hairdressing and where I'd like to take it in the future.

"I mean, doing famous peoples hair for a living would be the ultimate dream" I announced
"Well, that's what we're here for!"
Victoria smiled

*ding*

I picked up my phone to see a message from an unknown number. After reading it over and over again my smile grew bigger and bigger

"Guys I have a job interview for a salon only a few minutes from here!" I announced
They all celebrated and pounced on me for a group hug. Damiano grabbed a bottle of champagne and shook it up before pulling the cork out and spraying it all over me.

"I guess I better have an early night then!" I said while the celebrations calmed down.
Ethan followed behind me
His hand fell into mine and he spun me around
He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead
"Well done bella, I'm so proud of you"
I looked up at him.
Something kept pulling me closer and closer to him
I closed my eyes and held his face

"Y/N you forgot your phone!" Victoria shouted before heading towards me and Ethan. We pulled away from the almost kiss and just smiled at each other
