"THIS IS WORK?!?!?!"
Ted looks shocked seeing his wife home catching him in the act, "Allison!!" The woman in the bed ran out of the room naked covered in a bedsheet.
Allison was in tears. "Who is she?!"
"My secretary."
"You cheated on me with your secretary!!"
"Yes, for a while now. I am not happy with you anymore."
"You ruined our family!! I want a divorce!!! You are out of here!! I am going to raise Connor by myself. I am going to get full custody of our son."
"He is my soon too!!'
"Oh really?! Our son does not need his Dad who does not want to be in our family, which you are destroying."
Emma got a bad feeling something is happening to her sister. "Killian?"
"Yes, Emma?"
"Can you watch the kids? I am going to check on Allison. She went home to talk to Ted. I just have this bad feeling, something bad has happened."
"Go, Allison needs you. I have it under control here."
David enters the room, "Emma?"
"Allison went home to talk to Ted. I just know something bad has happened to her."
"I am coming with you." Emma drove her yellow bug with her Dad.
"I should have gone with her. I got a bad feeling when she was leaving. Something happened with Ted."
"We are going to help her, Emma. Your sister is going to be okay." She drives her car to Allison's house. They enter the house, seeing Allison and Ted arguing. David charges at Ted. "What have you done to my daughter?"
"You are..."
"Yes, I am her father. You are the one that did not come to Connecticut."
"I want a divorce!! Connor is staying with me"
Emma goes to her sister. "Allison?"
"He cheated on me. The woman he slept with in my bed, left when I caught them in bed together."
David punches Ted in the face. "How can you cheat on my daughter?!"
Emma guides her sister to Connor's room. "What do you want to do? You want him out of here?"
"I don't know!!" She sits on the ground. "I don't want to see Ted ever again. But I don't want my son to be away from his Dad. Ted lied to me and hurt me. He destroyed our family." She cried.
Emma hugs her sister. "If you want him out, Dad will take him out of the house."
"I cannot look at him the same ever again. I am going to be a single Mom."
Emma hugs her sister. "You are not alone. You have me, Allison. I can watch Connor when you are at work."
"I do not want to take Connor out of the home he only ever know. I am not starting all over again with my son."
"From what I experience, as long as Connor has you, he will be happy. No matter what you decide. You have your family to support you."
Allison gets up and goes to Ted. "I want you out of here. Pack your stuff and leave."
"Allison..."
"You lied to me, you been avoiding me, I caught you sleeping with a strange woman..."
"Actually she is my secretary, we have been having an affair for the last 6 months."
Allison began hitting him. Emma and David hold Allison. "You ruined our family!!!" They take her to Connor's room.
"Emma, you got her?"
"Yes, Dad. Make sure Ted is packed and leaves."
"I am on it." He hugs his daughter. "You are going to be okay, sweetheart. You and Connor have all of us." He leaves the room. Allison continues to cry. Emma hugs her sister. "My son is not going to have a Dad in his life all the time..."
"Connor will be used to it when he is older."
"Why does my husband always do something bad?"
"You will find a man that loves you for you."
"I am filing for divorce. Again."
"This time you have me on your side." She hugs her sister. "If you need to, you and Connor are welcome to stay over at my house."
"I just do not want to be here right now."
"We can go back to my house."
"Yes."
Emma checks Allison's room, seeing Ted's suitcases are packed. "Are you leaving?"
"Yes.."
"Why did you hurt my sister?"
"I was lonely."
"Lonely?! What about your son and wife?! How can you be lonely?! You hurt Allison. Your son is not going to have a father in his life all the time!!!"
"I just got tired of being father and husband." Emma slaps him in the face. David makes sure Ted leaves. Emma hugs her sister. "I am here for you and Connor."
"I thought he was the one who was not going to hurt me. Now, I am going to get divorce again but this time my child is going to get affected. I am going to be a single Mom. I want to hug Connor."
Emma checks downstairs, "Dad, did he leave?"
"Yes, I made sure of it."
"We are going back to my house. Allison just wants to be with her son."
"I am going to stay with Allison and Connor tonight."
"She needs you, Dad. You can stay with her and Connor." Emma drove her sister and Dad back to her house. When they enter the house the two mothers heard both babies crying. They find Hope and Connor crying in the living room. "Hope, what is the matter?" She holds her daughter.
"Mommy!" Hope hugs her Mommy.
"Mommy is home. Mommy had to bring Auntie home, Uncle Ted was being mean to her."
Allison scooped her son into her arms. "Mama is here. Mama is here. Shh..shh..."
"Mama!" Connor hugs his Mama.
"I am here, sweetie. It is just going to be you and me for now on at home."
A week later, after Ted left, Allison was in bed crying at the memories. She cannot believe Ted cheated on her with another woman. She filed for divorce the next day. Emma has been coming over to help around the house and keeping her company the last few days, watching Connor when Allison was at work. Their Dad stayed a few days with Allison and Connor until he had to go back to the farm. Allison woke up in awful pain with blood around her. She groans in pain. "No...No..." She grabs her iPhone.
"911, what is your emergency?"
"I need an ambulance to Long Island Jewish Hospital. I am bleeding heavily. I think I am having a miscarriage."
"An ambulance is on its way." Allison ends the call, thinking about her son. She makes another phone call.
Emma was up with Killian who was getting ready for work. "Allison..."
"Emma...I am having a miscarriage..."
Emma was surprised. "I am on my way." She ends the call.
"Emma?"
"Allison woke up with a miscarriage. I have to go to be with her." Emma dresses up out of her pajamas into a sweatshirt and leggings.
"Emma, I am going to call Ashley. She is off today. She can watch the kids."
"Please tell her that there are bottles of breastmilk for Hope in the refrigerator." Emma was crying.
Killian hugs his wife. "Allison is going to be okay. She has her sister that is going to be there for her and a family who loves her. How about I pick up Connor at the house so he can be with his cousins."
"Perfect. You can pick him up after Ashley comes over."
"That is why we are team Swan-Jones." They kiss.
Emma rushes to her yellow bug and speeds over to Allison's house and used her key to get in. Emma finds her sister crying and in pain in a pool of blood around her, which gave her flashbacks of her miscarriage at 17 years old. "Allison, I am here."
"Emma..."
Emma holds her sister's hand. "I am right here, Allison." Emma cleaned her sister up and helped her change. "Killian is coming to pick up Connor. Ashley is going to watch the kids." Emma packs a bag for her sister and prepared Connor's diaper bag. EMTs arrived and put Allison on a stretcher. Emma puts the bloody sheets in a hamper and changed the sheets. She does not want her sister to remember about the miscarriage when she returns home. Killian arrives seeing EMTs in the house and Emma holding sleeping Connor. "Killian."
"Hi, Allison. I am going to take Connor over to my house so he can be with his cousins. Ashley is over watching them so Emma can be with you."
"Thank you, Killian."
"You are going to get better, Allison. You have us."
Killian goes to his wife. "Emma, are you alright?"
"There is a lot of blood in her room..."
"I have the little lad." Killian holds Connor and hugs his wife. "Your sister is going to be okay. She has us to help her. You got here on time."
"I know. She has me, who has gone through it."
"Call me or text me updates."
"I will." Emma goes to the ambulance with her sister. "I am right here, Allison." Allison grabbed her sister's hand.
Killian watched his swan and his sister-in-law travel into the ambulance. "Little lad, you are going to have a fun day with your cousins." Killian puts his nephew in the car seat and drove him home. He carried Connor into the house, who wakes up. "Em-Em."
"Auntie Emma will be home soon, little lad. You are going to have a fun day with your cousins."
"Killian, he is going to be good here with his cousins." Ashley faces Connor. "Hi, Connor."
"Thank you for coming here on your day off."
"You are welcome, Killian. I feel sorry for Allison. I know Emma needs to be with her sister. From what Emma told me about Allison's soon-to-be ex-husband, I want to help. Allison is another close friend like Emma is my best friend."
"Emma is with her in the ambulance."
"I will get updates from her." She takes Connor. "Connor, we are going to have fun today. Thomas told Gus you are running late. My father-in-law will drop off Alexandra here in the morning. She and Henry are around the same age to play with. They are all going to be alright, Killian."
Henry goes downstairs. "Dad?"
"Henry, your Mom had to go to the hospital with Aunt Allison."
"Is Aunt Allison hurt?"
"Yes, lad. This is Ashley, Mommy's best friend. She works with me on the airplane. She is going to watch you, Connor, and Hope until Mom comes home."
"Hi, Henry."
"Hi, Ashley."
"Wy-wy!"
"Hi, Connor. Dad, can Connor sleep in my room?"
"Yes, he has to be sleeping in the traveling crib though."
"Yes! Little cuz, you are going to sleep in my room!"
"Henry, I will set it up." Ashley carried Connor up to Henry's room.
"Son, I will be home after work." Henry hugs his Dad. "I will see you later. You need to go back to bed."
"Yes, Dad. I will make Connor and Hope happy today."
"That is my boy." Henry goes back to his room. Killian leaves to JFK airport. He made it to his gate on time. He sees Thomas.
"Ashley told me about the emergency. How is Allison?"
"I saw her in the stretcher when I had to pick up the little lad. She did not look good. Connor is at my house, with Ashley and our kids. Emma is with her and will update me." They greeted guests and prepared for their flight to California. He and Thomas put their headphones on. "Attention, this is your captain speaking. We are prepared for the runaway. We are going to be in LAX airport in 5 hours. Buckle in and enjoy your flight." He and Thomas tuned on switched and began the motor and driving to the runaway until they gain more speed and took off into the sky. "We have lift off."
Emma followed Allison out of the ambulance to the emergency room. Allison was shaking in shock. Emma was hugging her sister. "You are not alone, sis. I am right here."
Allison looked up at her sister. "How...how did you went through this alone? I am so happy you are here."
She hugs her sister."I had no one, I did not know what sex was back then or even I was pregnant. I am here with you, big sis. You have me."
"I did not know too...Ted and I had sex... a month ago..." Emma hugs her sister as she cried into her. "He had hurt me, our son and now this..."
"He is going to get what he deserves in court."
"I am getting full custody of Connor."
A doctor enters the room, Dr. Pierce. "Hi, Allison. Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Dr.Pierce."
"I am surprised to have you here."
"I woke up in a pool of blood around me. Emma came over after I called her."
"Allison, I am going to examine you."
"I am pretty sure that I am having a miscarriage."
Dr.Pierce examines Allison. "Allison, you are having a miscarriage. We have to wait until all of the tissue is out. If it's not all out in a few hours, I can give you Cytotec to speed up..."
"I want the Cytotec."
"I will get you the medicine, Allison. I am sorry..."
"I did not even know. Ted has done this...and so much."
"My sister recently found out Ted has cheated on her...and filing for divorce."
"Allison, I am so sorry you are going through this."
"How long will I be in recovery?"
"A few weeks."
Allison sighs. "I have to work."
"I know but the more you rest the fewer rest days you have from work. I will be right back with your medicine." Dr.Claire left the room. Allison began crying. Emma hugs her sister and texts Killian updates.
Back at the Swan-Jones house, Connor and Hope were the first ones awake. Ashley dressed them up in outfits for the day. She turns on PBSkids for Sesame Street and let them play in the living room. Henry wakes up hearing the television on and dresses up for the day. He goes downstairs finding his sister and cousin playing and Ashley cooking breakfast in the kitchen. "Hi, Ashley. What are you cooking for breakfast?"
"I am cooking pancakes, bacon, and eggs."
"That sounds good. Have you heard from my Mom?"
"Your Mom told me that your Aunt has to stay in the hospital for a little longer."
"I am worried about Aunt Allison."
"She is going to be okay. Did your Mom or Dad tell you about my daughter Alexandra?"
"No, they did not."
"Well, she is five years old. She is going to come here to play with you."
Henry smiles. "Awesome."
Hope walks to the kitchen. "Wy-wy, Mommy."
"Mommy will be back soon, baby sis. Do you want me to play with you and Connor?" Hope smiles. "We will play." He held his sister's hand and walked to the living room. Ashley smiles and she can see why Henry fits in with Emma's family.
Back at the hospital, Dr.Claire gave Allison the medicine making her so much in pain. She was crying. Emma hates seeing her sister suffering. Allison was lying in bed clutching her stomach, Emma was doing all she can to soothe her sister by hugging her or rubbing her back. She remembers when she had her miscarriage, she was all alone lying on the dirty bathroom floor in agony. 11 years later, her sister is going through the same pain as she was but she is not alone. "You are going to be okay..shh...shh..." Emma hugs her sister.
"I am so happy to have my sister here."
"I am happy to be with you when you need me. We are sisters, Allison."
"I am so happy to have found you. I love you, Emma."
"I love you, Allison." They hug.
Alexandra arrived at the Swan-Jones' house. "Mommy!"
"Hi, sweetie-pie." She hugs her daughter.
"Where are Emma and Killy?"
"Killian is at work. Emma is with her sister Allison at the hospital. I have a friend I want you to meet." Henry goes to them. "Henry, this is my daughter Alexandra. Alexandra, this is Emma and Killian's son, Henry."
"Hi, Henry."
"Hi, Alexandra. Do you like Legos?"
"Yes, I have the Disney princess one."
"Awesome. I have the Peter Pan edition."
"You two can play with legos after breakfast." She goes to the babies. "Connor, Hope, it is time for breakfast."
"Wy-wy!" They got to Henry.
"Ashley made us breakfast." He leads the babies in. Ashley puts them in the high chairs. "Ashley, they both like scrambled eggs and cut-up pancakes."
"Thank you for telling me, Henry." Ashley gave the babies their food into the highchair tables. Alexandra and Henry talked about Disney and legos.
Killian had a smooth ride to California. He landed the airplane on the tarmac. "Everyone, we have landed safely at LAX airport." They said farewells to the passengers. Killian calls Emma. She gets up from the bed and stepped away from her sister. "Hey, how was your flight?"
"It went very smoothly. How is Allison?"
Emma looks at her sister who was fast asleep. "She had a miscarriage. Dr.Claire gave her a medicine to help to speed up the miscarriage."
"Poor Allison. It is bloody awful what Ted is putting her through."
"I know..."
"Emma, how are you holding up?"
"I keep getting flashbacks from my miscarriage..." She bites the edge of the sweatshirt sleeve. "Seeing Allison in pain and agony...I remember it...I don't know how I did this by myself not in a hospital..." She began tearing up. "I feel so sorry for her..."
"You are there for her, Emma. She is not alone, she has you to help her. If Allison needs to recover at our house she can."
"That is what I have been thinking, she is alone, no Ted, she has Connor, and no one to help her at home during recovery. She is in a lot of pain. She is staying with us for a while."
"We are going to help her, love. Even with her divorce."
"I offered to watch Connor for her when she is at work."
"Aye, I know the two little ones will get closer."
"Basically, Hope will have like two brothers."
"Aye, I can imagine her being the boss." They both laughed.
"I just want to hug you now."
"I want to be with you helping Allison."
"You helped me this morning, bringing Connor to our house and calling Ashley to babysit. Which I should call next, her with 2 kids and 2 toddlers."
"Aye. If you need anything, Emma. Please update me."
"I will. I am there for my sister."
"Emma, I will be back soon. I can pick you two up from the hospital."
"I will let you know if we are still here when you land."
"Aye, I heading back to New York in an hour. I will land around 7:00 pm. I love you."
"I love you too, my captain. Please fly home safe to us."
"I will. Swan." They ended their phone conversation.
Back at home, Connor was napping upstairs. Henry and Alexandra were playing in his bedroom. Ashley was hugging very upset Hope was crying nonstop wanting her Mommy. "Mommy...Mommy..." Ashley knows this is the longest time Hope has been away from Emma. She receives a facetime call from Emma, Ashley sighed in relief so Hope can see her Mommy. She swiped to answer, Emma appears onto her iPhone. "Emma."
"Hi, Ashley. Hope, sweetie. Why are you crying?"
Hope looks at her Mommy on the iPhone. "Mommy!"
"Yes, sweetie, it is Mommy." Hope babbles. "You miss me?"Hope babbles. "Mommy is with Auntie who isn't feeling well. Mommy is going to bring Auntie home soon. We get to snuggle." She looks at Ashley. "How are the rest of the kids?"
"I made them macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets for lunch. Alexandra and Henry are playing legos in his bedroom. They are getting along. Connor is napping, he was crying for Allison before his nap. How is your sister?"
"She was right about the miscarriage. Our doctor gave her medicine to help the miscarriage. She is in a lot of pain. She is going to recover in our house. Killian and I discussed it. I will text you when I am bringing Allison home."
"I know she has you, Emma, to take care of her, which you are. Alexandra made a new friend today."
"I have a feeling they will have a lot of playdates."
"They are going to the same school."
"Yes, St. Anne's school. Henry is only a year ahead of Alexandra."
"Mommy."
"Hope, I love you."
"Luv, Mommy."
Emma smiles at her daughter, her first sentence. "You just made my day, baby girl." After the facetime, Emma took a car service back to her sister's house to pack up more clothes for both her sister and nephew. She drives her yellow bug back to the hospital and returns to her sister's room. "Emma."
"Hey, big sis. I got more clothes for you and Connor."
"Clothes?"
"You and Connor are staying with me, Killian, Henry, and Hope until you recover. I do not want my sister to be alone when she is in recovery."
Allison hugs her sister crying. "Dr.Claire gave me the okay to leave. I was worried I will be alone with Connor in recovery."
"Luckily, you have a sister to help you." Allison got dressed in leggings and a tee-shirt. A nurse wheels Allison out of the hospital. Emma helped her sister into her yellow bug. She drives her sister home in the dark, they have been at the hospital all day. She helped Allison out of the car and into the house. Henry and Alexandra were in the fort they created out of pillows, blankets and the couches pillows, watching Peter Pan: Return to Neverland. Connor was walking around as Hope was holding her pluto doll crying being held by Ashley. "Connor, Hope your Mommys are home."
"Mama!!" Connor runs to his mama and hugs her legs.
"Hi, Connor." Emma puts Connor in his mother's arms. "I missed you so much."
"Mama." Connor hugs his Mama.
"Mommy!"
"Hope!" Emma takes Hope from Ashley. "Hope, I am home, sweetie." Hope stops crying. "Ashley, I know Hope gave you a hard time today and watching all three of our kids."
"She was not crying the whole time. She is really sweet and reminded me of Alex at that age." She looks at Allison. "If you need anything, Allison, let me know. I am happy to help."
"Thank you, Ashley. Thank you for watching Connor and the rest of the kids today."
"It was no problem, Henry and Alexandra helped me keep these two entertained and happy."
"Mom!" Henry runs and hugs his Mom.
"Hey, kid. I heard you had fun today."
"Yes, I did. Alexandra and I talked about Disney and watching Peter Pan 2. We also played with legos in my room."
"You two are going to the same school in the fall."
"I...I do not like school, Mom."
"You know a friend who you can see every day. that is a good song of a new school."
"Henry, you are my friend. You can meet my friends. They will like you." Henry smiles.
"Ashley, can you hold Connor?"
"Yes, I can, Allison." Ashley holds Connor
"Mama."
"Mommy needs to go upstairs, Connor."
Emma helped her sister up to the guest room and helped her settle down. "Thank you, Emma. I am sore and in pain."
"We will take your recovery one day at a time. The pain will be lessening every day."
Ashley brings Connor up. "Mama!!" Connor runs to his Mommy and tries to get into the bed.
Emma puts Connor into the bed. "Here, you go, little man." Connor hugs his Mommy. "Be gentle hugging your Mommy."
"Em-em."
"Your Mommy and you are staying here until your Mommy boo-boo is better." Connor hugs his auntie Emma. Emma smiles knowing her nephew knows she is taking good care of his mommy.
Hope hugs her auntie Allison and babbles. "Hope, I am going to stay here with you and mommy for a little while." Hope smiles. "Yes, we can have our girl time. You get to play with Connor."
Henry enters the room, "Aunt Allison?"
"Yes, Henry?"
"I made you a get-will card and a picture."
Ashley smiles."You did?"
"Yes. This is for you."
Allison opens the card. Aunt Allison, I hope your hurt is gone. Feel better soon. Luv, Henry, Connor, and Hope. He also gave Allison a picture of a doctor with hearts around the background. "Henry, I love the card. Is this me?"
"Yes!"
"You are a good artist."
"Thank you, Aunt Allison."
"I love my card." Allison hugs her nephew.
"Kid,we should let your Aunt rest. She had a very rough day."
"Okay."
"Mama."
"You are staying with me, baby boy." She hugs her son.
"Little cuz, we are going to play later."
"Yes, wy-wy."
Allison and Emma smiled at Connor. "Henry, that is Connor's new word."
"Awesome!" Hope babbles.
"You can play with Connnor later, little niece. I know you missed your Mommy all day." Emma took Hope and lead Henry downstairs.
Ashley and Alexandra leave after she and Emma arrange a playdate for Henry and Alexandra. "Henry, I need your help cleaning up the fort."
"Okay. Hope, I can clean up and you can stay with Mommy." Hope babbles. "Deal."
As soon as Killian landed in New York, he checked his iPhone, Emma texted him that she brought Allison home. After the passengers left and flight attendants cleaned up, Killian went to the car and drove home. He knew Emma and the rest of the family needed him. He returns home at 9:30pm, "Henry, Hope, Emma."
"Dada!" Hope walks as fast as she can to her Daddy.
Killian scooped Hope into his arms. "Hi, little love. How is my baby girl?"
"Dada!"
"Dad!" Henry goes to his Dad and hugs him. "Hi, son. Where is your Mom?"
"She is helping Aunt Allison in the guest room. What really happened to Aunt Allison?"
"Son, Aunt Allison had a very tiny tiny baby in her tummy, which died. Aunt Allison needs to stay here to recover because..."
"Uncle Ted does not live with her and Connor anymore."
"Yes, son. Aunt Allison needs our help during her recovery."
"I will help." Hope babbles.
"We will help Aunt Allison."
Back upstairs, Emma was helping Allison get settled into bed.She gave Allsion her medicine, get her dressed into comfy clothes and a heating pad. Connor was fast asleep on the bed next to his Momma. He did not want to be far away from his Mommy. "Do you need anything else?"
"Emma, I am good. Thank you for being there today and now."
Emma hugs her sister. "You are welcome, Allison. You two are welcome to stay here as long as you two want to."
Allison looks at her son who was wearing Mickey Mouse pajamas and sucking on his binky fast asleep. "I was thinking I was alone at home ever since Ted left. But I have my son. After today, Connor doesn't want to leave my side ever since we returned home. My little man. This divorce, I am not alone, I have my son." She smooths Connor's hair.
"You have all of us, Allison."
"I am so lucky to have found you"
"Me too. I would not have a family this big until I met you in the hospital room." They hug."If you need anything, I will be downstairs."
"Thank you, sis."
"You are welcome, sis."
Emma goes downstairs, Killian was home and snuggling with Hope who was babbling away. "Oh, really? That is how you fly an airplane!" Hope babbles. "Tell me more." Hope babbles more and hugs her Daddy. "Yes, the steering wheel is the best part of the whole plane."
Emma takes pictures of Killian and Hope's daddy-daughter time. "Hi, Killian. How was your flight?"
"They were both smooth flights. How is Allison?"
Emma sat on the couch and hugs her husband and daughter. "She is happy to be out of the hospital. We were in there all day. She is resting in the guest room with Connor next to her. He missed his Mom all day. We have pizza for dinner."
"Aye, Henry gave me two slices. I ate them already." Hope babbles. "Dada is home, Hope."
"Mommy Dada."
"Yes, you are with Mommy and Dada!" Hope hugs her Daddy as she was holding her Mommy's hand. "Hope was crying most of the day wanted me."
"Aye, she missed her Mommy. I told you, swan, Hope will always want her Mommy."
"You were right. Hope loves me." She kisses Hope on the cheek. "Allison, she told me just now that she just realized with their divorce, she is not alone she has Connor, who has not left her side since we arrived home."
"The little lad missed his Mommy the whole day."
"Yes, he did. Henry and Alexandra helped Ashley with both babies."
Henry returns with a book. "Dad, I found a book.'
"Very good, son."
"Mom?"
"Yes?" Henry hugs his Mom. "Henry, I am right here, kid."
"Can I help you with Aunt Allison?"
Emma smiles. "Yes, you can. You can give Aunt Allison hugs and talk to her. You can also play with Connor too."
"I want to help them both because I know Uncle Ted hurt them. I do not like seeing the people I love getting hurt."
"Your Dad and I do not like when our loved ones hurt that is why we are letting Aunt Allison and Connor stay here when she recovers."
"Can Connor sleep in my room?"
Emma smiles. "Yes but tomorrow night. He is with his Mom."
"I understand. He was upset when he woke up this morning not seeing his Mom."
"Dada."
"Hope, yes, I did promise you and Henry a story." Killian opens the book, "Once upon a time, there was a little boy that lives in Neverland..." After the story, Henry was fast asleep on Emma and Hope was fast asleep on Killian. They brought their children to their bedrooms and tucked them in.
Emma puts Crush to her son. "Sweet dreams, Henry. Mommy loves you." She kisses him on the head and closes the light. She goes to the guest room to check up on her sister and nephew Allison hugging her son both fast asleep. Emma goes back to her room finding Killian sitting in bed holding sleeping, Hope. "Someone did not want to sleep in her crib."
"She can sleep with us. I missed her all day." Emma sits on the bed and Killian gives Emma Hope to hug. "Mommy is here, Hope."
"I missed her all day too. I was thinking about my whole family today flying. I wanted to be there for you and Allison, love. I know this was hard for you. Relieving it with your sister."
"It was not me this time, it was my sister. I did get flashbacks of my rape. I just know from my experience that I was going to help Allison and be there for her. I was going to do everything I can to know she was not alone. Everything I wanted to have after my marriage, love, support, someone to hug and shoulder to cry on. I just felt sorry for her, what Ted put her through lately cheating on her and now a miscarriage."
"You and I are going to help your sister swan. She is going to be okay. She has us to care for her." Emma hugs her daughter. Killian hugged his two loves."She is not alone as you were when it happened, Emma. She has Connor, you, me, Henry, your Dad with her." Hope wakes up crying.
"Hopey."
"Mommy."
"I am right here, little duckling." She checks Hope's diaper, she was clean. "Are you hungry?" She breastfeeds Hope. "There you go, Hope. You just wanted Mommy's milk." Killian wrapped his arm around his swan. "Allison is my sister, Hope's godmother, who she delivered on this bed."
"She is your sister and best friend. She has been part of our family since we first met her at the hospital. We both are going to help her, Emma. She is part of our family."
"I am going to help my sister now and always."
"That is my, Emma." They kiss.
