"I'm sorry." I blurted out "What?" she asked confused
"I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused, I'm sorry for being bitter and ruining your relationship."
"It's okay." She mumbled "I hurt you Eliana you're allowed to be upset."
"I never said I wasn't upset shaniyah." "I know I'm just saying "
-"No! You can't just fuck someone's life up for two fucking decades and then apologise!" She spat and I was taken back
"You not only hurt me shaniyah you hurt our kids! You acted a fool anytime and anywhere and now they're all fucked up in some way and I can't just blame you because Jade let you do all of that because if he was anywhere near a REAL man he wouldn't let a child because that's what you were in the beginning do all of what you did." She continued and it hurt
"I forgave you a long time ago shaniyah because behind all of your bitterness you are a hurt kid that everyone failed and gave up on."
"That's not true." "Your parents changed for them not their kids and Jade didn't love you shaniyah."
"He didn't love you either." "I know.. he didn't love either of us."
"I'm sorry, Eliana you've done nothing but be good to me even when I treated you like shit and I'm sorry." I said after a minute of silence but she still looked unsure and I honestly don't blame her
"I know I've apologised in the past but I mean it I'm at peace and I'm trying to right my wrongs and I know I'll never be able to make up for the pain I've caused you but I just want you to know and see that I am sorry." I confessed getting a little emotional
"We can try but it's going to take time." "Of course."
We talker for a little while and of course we're not the beat friends or even friends but eventually I can only hope that she heals from the pain I caused her.
These past few l years have been hard but it has also been by far the best couple of years of my life and I know a lot of bad happened but A lot of good happened too for example I met my soul mate, I found god and I reconnected with friends. It's been a hell of a ride but I can confidently say that I'm happy
"How was your day?" He asked rubbing my back "Mmh. It was good I had fun."
"What did you do?" "I saw Eliana and we ate, drank some wine and came to an understanding."
"Oh really?" He asked a little shocked
"Yeah, I apologised and made it clear that I've changed and she said we could try. She was a little hesitant but I don't blame her."
