"So what did your father say?" My Mom asked pouring me some soup
"He said he'd come to visit tomorrow," I said rubbing my round belly. It's been three months and I am six months pregnant, Jade has yet to reach out to me but I don't blame him I don't know who the father is
"Well that's good I guess." Mom has been here a hundred per cent she's had her moments but she's one of the only people that's been here
"Is Dejah coming over?" I nodded while eating "Yeah, she's coming later."
"That's good she's good for you."
"Yeah, I know." I said finishing the last of my soup, "Can you pour me some more?" I asked
"You have to be careful with the sodium." She told me but got up pouring more anyways
𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞
"She's pregnant," Eliana said randomly "Who?" I asked confused
"Shaniyah." She whispered "I heard about that."
"Jade stop lying to me." She snapped "I'm not lying to you, babe."
"I love you and to be honest I don't want her child to be yours but if it is or there is a chance even the smallest chance that it is I won't be the reason you're not involved in your child's life." She said seriously
"I'm sorry," I whispered feeling bad
"Don't be I knew you either wasn't ready to commit to me or you just didn't want to commit to me I should have never forced a relationship onto you?" she said and I could tell she wanted to cry
"What now?" I asked and I didn't want our relationship to end
"I love you too much to leave and I know it's dumb but I truly feel a different type of love for you." She said stopping to take a breath
"You two should sit down and talk if that baby's mine I want you two or her to understand that you're going to be in my life forever."
"You two need to have a conversation and you need to apologise and then we'll see if we can have a conversation with the three of us."
"Okay... I love you." "I love you too Ace but that's the issue."
𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬
"Coming!" I shouted walking downstairs to go open the door for who I'm guessing is Dejah
"What are you doing here?" "I just want to talk." He said with a sigh
"Thirty minutes." That was all I said before heading to the living room and taking a seat
"I'm sorry for the way I acted when I heard that you were pregnant." He said taking a seat
"It's too late for that I'm six months pregnant and you haven't been here once," I said feeling myself get emotional, my son was turning me into a crybaby and I hated it
"I know and I apologise I was well I am scared and I decided to run like a coward."
"Yeah, that was a cowardly move." "Do you know the gender?"
"It's a boy so guess he has less of a chance of being like me if we had a daughter," I said with a laugh
"You ain't that bad."
"Does your girlfriend know you're here?" I wasn't trying to be bitter I was just curious
"Yeah, she pushed me to come." He said with a smile and this light in his eyes when he spoke of her which pissed me off
"I don't want my child around her," I said and I meant it my baby my dam rules
"That's fine but I plan to marry Eliana and when I do our child will most likely be around her."
"You see that far ahead?"
"She makes me see years ahead shit before her I never saw a week ahead." He said shaking his head
"You love her?" "Yes, she is everything I need and want."
"Then how come I'm the one who's pregnant?" I asked and he was taken back
"I made a mistake but this isn't the reason I came here. When are you due?"
"The fifth of July."
"That's in three months." He said with a goofy smile making me laugh
"What's funny?" "You. I'm happy that you are excited."
"Have you spoken to the other possible father?" He asked making my mood turn sour from just thinking about those cunts
"I've tried but they're both made it that they want nothing to do with my child if it turns out he's their child." Leon and Adrian made it clear that they had no intention of being in my child's life
"Why If you don't mind me asking?"
"Well Adrian is twice my age and a lawyer so he can't risk his job being there for his child but he can risk his reputation and job by fucking someone half his age Leon said that my first baby wasn't his so this one most likely isn't," I said
"That's messed up I'm sorry you've got to go through this, especially by yourself."
"It's not your fault plus I brought this upon myself," I admitted
"Thought of any names?" "Ashton, Anthony or Rashuard."
"I like Ashton, I don't hate Anthony but I don't like Rashuard."
"Understood and I really like Ashton but I don't know yet. You can think of a name and we'll choose between the two when he's born." I offered
"Thank you and can I touch your stomach?" "Go ahead," I said lifting my shirt
"H-he's moving right?" He asked nervously and I couldn't help but laugh
"Yeah," I said and then we heard a knock on the door
"I'll be a second."
"Girl you look cute." Dejah gushed pushing her way through the door but then stopped when she saw ace
"He's here for the baby that's it," I said sitting down
"Oh okay." She said heading upstairs to go wash her hands and stuff
"I need to get going but it was nice talking to you."
"Wait a second I have something for you," I said walking to the kitchen and taking out four sonogram pictures and a piece of paper writing my number down on it
"I'll call you whenever I have appointments and here are a few sonograms," I said handing him the papers
"Thank you this means a lot." He said with a genuine smile before leaving
"Are you alright?"
"I'm okay." My feelings for Jade were still here but right now none of that mattered this was about our child not my feelings for him.
