𝐎𝐂•𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒 Omniscient
The cool winter breeze blew throughout the beat-up windows installed into the house that Shaniyah, her siblings and their mother were staying at for the past three months
"I was say"— The espresso-skinned woman was rudely interrupted by a heavy knock on the house door. When she didn't immediately answer it was followed by a few more.
"I'm coming." The espresso skinned female called as she walked over to the front door, when opened she was surprised to see her children's father standing there with a scowl on his face
"What?" She said smacking her lips and snaking her neck showing that she wasn't pleased to see him
"Rena I'm here to see my kids it's been weeks!" He barked pushing his way through the beat-up house
"Where's my money? And that'll teach you about having your hoes around my kids." She said kissing her teeth and taking a seat on one of the beats up couches
"Here." He said throwing three stacks in her hand and watching as the bitter women's eyes lit up
"You can keep them until Tuesday no later I'm not joking either."
"Whatever man call my babies." He said annoyed but also grateful that he'd get to see his children after not being able to see them for weeks She only shook her head annoyed by his statement
"Yaya, Niyiah and kodie come down here!" Rena barked and her voice sounded irritated
"Coming mama!" Screamed the younger of the three as the other two followed behind her wondering what they could have possibly done
"Yes, mommy?" Yaya asked politely but her mother only scowled at her in disgust response that's when niyiah noticed the familiar six-foot-four man sitting on one of her chairs in the living room
"Daddy!" She screamed out excitement running over to him and jumping on his lap
the other two stayed in place once they noticed the look of vexation that came upon their mother's round face
"Yes, your dads here y'all put your shoes on." The two couldn't hold in their excitement anymore running over to their dad and hugging him tightly forgetting all about the consequences they would have to face later on over such a small action
"Yaya, Kodi hurry up now!" Their Mother barked feeling her heart fill with jealousy over the interaction between the father and his children
"Chill out g don't be speakin' to my kids like that." The dark skin male named rashuard Woods as he hugged his son and daughter tightly
Rashuard wasn't been able to see his kids over an incident between him & Rena, she claimed that he had another female around her kids which was incorrect because even though they weren't together he still didn't bring other females around his children out of respect for his kids but that didn't stop her from not allowing him to see them for multiple weeks
"Whatever hurry up before I change my mind & Yaya put your fucking shoes on now!." She said raising her voice once more at the five-year-old then kissing her teeth, smacking on her gum angrily
"I ain't gone warn you one more time Rena don't play with me." He seethed gritting his teeth
"Shut the fuck up, don't tell me how to raise my children who you barely help take care of or do anything for!." Rena responded her mouth lifting into a smirk once she noticed the look in his eyes she had gotten to him and that satisfied her.
What she had said was a lie Rashuard had been giving her at least up to eight thousand dollars a month if not more ever since his "business" on the streets started going up & he started making more money than he could be honest and say before he'd given Rena two hundred to seven hundred dollars a month but that was when he had nothing to give, never-less that was then in the past and he couldn't and wouldn't go back.
"Baby girl go to your room real quick." His smooth deep voice said softly to his youngest child she listened to her father's instructions running towards her bedroom following her older siblings
"You're always talking shit watch and see if you get to see them next week." Rena continued talking nonsense not noticing that her children's father was approaching her now close enough to grab her which he did colliding her body into the wall roughly as she let out an ear-piercing scream caused by the pain in her spine but he didn't stop there
"What I tell you? huh?!" He said wrapping his hands around her throat. Rashuard suffered from extreme bipolar and Borderline personality disorder he took his medication twice a day for the sake of his children but when pushed he could become quite a beast and Rena loved to push him to and past his limits
"I... I please!" Was all she could get out as she clawed at his hands
"Shut up," his deep voice filled with so much anger but yet at the same time emotionless said as he squeezed her neck once more in a tighter manner than before
"We're ready daddy!" He headed Nayiah's soft voice said, he could hear Yaya's little footsteps heading towards their direction
"One-second baby girl." His emotionless voice switched to happy as he spoke to her, Rena's heart grew more & more hatred for Shaniyiah as he spoke. Her daughter
"Don't play with me like that again." Was all Rashuard said before dropping her onto the ground roughly Then calling for his kids to leave the house altogether
"I hate you so much." She whispered as he left through the door but her words weren't towards Rashuard they were towards her children, especially towards Shaniyah
Later on
"Jade give me my doll back!" Yaya screamed chasing the sixteen-year-old around the living room making Niyah kiss her teeth getting annoyed at all the commotion going on around her
"You got an issue?" Jade asked with a smile annoying the teen even more
"Yes, I'm trying to study so get lost." She snapped flipping through her study book angrily making him let out a loud sarcastic laugh
"Shawty you're in my house and you're telling me to get lost?" He asked with a chuckle
"Yes, you heard me the first time now get lost!" She didn't care if it was his dad's house he was being loud for no reason
"You got it Shawty, Yaya baby let's go to my room and we can play." She looked up at him and for a second they held eye contact but she shook her head and looked elsewhere
