"How was it?" Laya asked
"It was weird and awkward," I said describing how I felt while going through with the abortion
"Well when I had my first one it felt weird but it kind of tickled." She said with a laugh making me look at her confused
"Really?" I said with an annoyed look "What? I'm just saying." She laughed
"Niyah!" Dejah called walking over to me before hugging me tight
"How was it?" She whispered in my ears we have spoke but her gran died so I refused to talk about my little ass issues while she's been going through it
"It went okay, how are you?"
"Can we talk somewhere else?" She asked looking over at Laya, I got the message
"I'm just sad but she lived a long life." Typical Dejah always finding light even when the candle barely burns

"I miss her a lot Shaniyah sometimes I think I can hear her when I'm alone." She said and I knew she wanted to cry but she'd never let others see her weak
"It's going to be okay," I whispered hugging her before she pulled away with a laugh but I knew Dejah was close to breaking down
"I'm fine I don't know why I'm even crying."
"Because you're hurting right now and you probably will be hurt for a while Dejah but it will get better."
"I don't believe that but okay." She smiled before grabbing my hand and pulling me to our class

"Why is she mad?" Zeke asked
"I don't even know she already knew what this was," I said feeling myself get even more annoyed at Eliana because she was ignoring me because some hoe sent her a sex tape of me but shit that's not my fault
"Did you try calling her?"
"No shit." I snapped getting up and going to call her again for the hundredth time
"Hello?" She asked, her voice low I just knew she had been crying for a while
"Why are you ignoring me ma," I said leaning back against the wall

"I know you got them shoes a few weeks ago." Was all she said, "love you."

"I love you too." She croaked out "You gonna leave me?"
"I-I think we just need a break." She whispered and I knew she was crying by her voice making me feel bad because she had no one I don't want to boast myself up she didn't have anyone
"I don't want to take a break." Either she was down or she was out of my life
"I love you ace but it's like you don't love me back and I can't anymore at first I thought maybe I could ignore all the sighs and be a good girlfriend but I can't Ace I just can't anymore."
"What're you saying, Eliana?"
"I'm saying I'm done, Goodbye Jade." She said calling me by my first name and then she hung up the phone
"Fuck!" I said punching the wall instantly regretting it when I felt my fist turn numb

"You sure you're okay?" I asked Dejah
"I said I was okay a thousand times today I'm okay shaniyah." She said through the FaceTime
"Anyways who is this guy that keeps stealing my friend?" She asked making me laugh
"He's a secret." I wasn't stupid enough to tell anyone I was sleeping with a man almost half my age don't get me wrong I trust Dejah with my life but I didn't wanna worry her by telling her this
"Is he good to you?"
"He treats me like a princess," I said with a light blush and no I wasn't catching feelings for some odd reason my heart wouldn't let me
"Then that's all that matters." "Thank you." I smile but then it disappeared when there was a loud bang
"What the heck was that?" She asked worriedly "I'll call you back," I said hanging up

I walked straight to his room knowing it was him "Why!" He screamed throwing something into his tv smashing it making me flinch
"What do you want?" He asked annoyed
"What's wrong?" I asked walking closer to him "Why do you care?" He snapped
"I don't know," I answered honestly
"I'm not in the right mindset to be around you." He said looking over at me with low eyes
"Are you high?" I asked concerned for some weird reason I ignored the weird feeling continuing to walk over to him
"Yeah." He said sitting down on his messy bed "Drugs don't help."
"That's funny." He said laughing and I couldn't help but join taking a seat on his bed
"I know I'm an addict or whatever but drugs aren't going to help whatever you're going through." "I smoke all the time, what you on?"
"Yeah but you look messed up and for some reason, it worries me," I said seriously
"I'm cool ma." He said leaning back and looking up at me we held eye contact for a while before I leaned in to kiss him and he didn't push me away
"This doesn't." I said kissing him back to try to gain control but he wouldn't let me "matter." I finished before he grabbed me placing me on his lap
"I don't care." That was all he said before he started pulling off my clothes
