About two and a half hours later, Chloe, Christi and Nick landed in the roof of the Cleveland Clinic. The pilot got out and came to unlock the door and help Christi and Nick out while doctors came and helped Chloe out and put her on a gurney.

The doctors put Chloe in a hospital room right away. After everyone got used to the new surroundings a nurse came in with a stack of paperwork for Christi to fill out. "Why is there so much paperwork?" Christi questioned, and seemed to be glaring at the stack sitting in front of her. "Maybe because we are in a hospital?" Chloe questioned back, letting out a slight giggle.

Nick looked away from where he had been looking at the door and looked over at Chloe and gave a small smile towards her. Chloe, Christi and Nick had gotten to the hospital right around dinner time, so some nurses came to make sure Chloe was settled in her room very well and to ask what she would want for dinner.

Chloe ordered a plate of lemon-garlic shrimp and grits for dinner. The nurse walked out after she checked to make sure everything was normal on the monitors and got Chloe's dinner.

"Well, Chlo. How do you feel?" Christi asked looking at her daughter who was looking around the room.

"I'm tired, but other than that, I'm good." She said with a smile, trying to cover up the slight inch of pain she felt in her head. As much as Chloe didn't want her mom or Nick to see her flinch. Christi and Nick both saw it, Nick more than Christi.

"Well, I'm going to go find the cafeteria and get something for Nick me to eat." Christi said getting up from the chair she was sitting in, and walking over to give her daughter a kiss on the forehead, then walked out of the room heading for the cafeteria and shutting the door behind her.

Nick was looking sown at his phone. Chloe thought that he was probably just texting his mom that they got here safely and that he loved her and would be home soon. Nick looked up after he locked his phone and saw Chloe looking at him.

Nick laughed. "Hi Chlo." He said getting up and walking over to her, sitting down beside her and swinging his arm over her shoulder, pulling her into his side. "What's up?" He questioned looking at her with a funny face on. Chloe started laughing, and then Christi walked in through the door, looking very confused.

"What's so funny Chlo?" Christi asked letting out a slight chuckle seeing how red her daughters face was and how hard she was laughing.

"Nothing really, I just started laughing because Nick made a funny face." Chloe answered finally calming down, a smile still on her face. The smile on Chloe's face caused Christi and Nick to smile. Chloe had not been herself all morning since the nurses back in Pittsburgh woke her up to get her ready to leave for Ohio.

After a few more minutes a nurse walked in with Christi, Chloe, and Nick's dinners. The nurse sat the try down and then started talking.

"Oh, I just wanted to tell you, that Doctor Avril has scheduled Chloe's surgery for tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Chloe paled instantly after hearing this. Nick saw and pulled her closer to him. He immediately felt how tense she was.

The nurse walked out after that. After the nurse left everyone in the room was left in an uncomfortable silence. Nick felt Chloe' shoulders start to shake after a few minutes of silence passed. H looked down at her face and saw that she was crying. Christi saw this to and walked over to the bed and sat on the other side of Chloe.

Christi started to run her fingers through her daughter's blonde hair, trying to calm her. Chloe leaned over and cried into her mom's shoulder. Christi kissed the top of Chloe's head and looked like she was about to cry also.

Chloe calmed down a while later when a doctor came in and asked if he could speak to Christi out in the hall. Christi agreed and walked out into the hallway with the doctor. Nick pulled Chloe down next to him and kissed the top of her head and stroking her hair. Chloe sniffled and looked up at the ceiling upset.

"It'll be okay, Chlo." Nick said turning and looking at her.

"No it won't." She whispered, turning her head to face him with bloodshot eyes because of how hard she'd been crying.

"Yes it will Chloe, you will be fine. Didn't I promise you that?" Nick said looking at her still with a heartbroken look on his face. He hated seeing Chloe have to go through this.

"Yes, you did promise me that I'd be fine but still I can feel something is going to go wrong tomorrow morning during the surgery." She said starting to panic again.

"You will be fine, and I will be right here when you wake up." Nick said giving her another kiss on the head. "Okay, I trust you on this." Chloe said looking defeated. "Good." Nick said. "Now how about you eat something for dinner?”

"No way. I have completely lost my appetite." Chloe said looking disgusted with the food.

Nick and Chloe laid there. Nick was stroking Chloe's hair softly and soon he felt something hit his shoulder. He looked down and saw Chloe asleep with her head on his shoulder. Nick smiled; this reminded him of the night before Chloe fainted. He couldn't help but think that maybe being awake till 1 a.m. that night then walking up at six that morning might have played a part of this happening to Chloe. Nick looked at the clock it had been about two hours since Christi stepped out in the hallway with the doctor. Nick soon felt himself getting drowsy and finding it hard to keep his eyes open. The last thing he remembered was hearing the door open and shut before joining Chloe in a world of slumber.
