Draco stood in front of his floor length mirror and checked his reflection. Tonight he was going to patrol with Hermione. He wished he could call her, his Hermione but that was the weasel who got to say that. Draco mentally slapped himself. He was meant to call him Ron now not weasel. Old habits die hard! He heard a knock on his door and he looked at himself once again before opening the door to a smiling Hermione. "Shall we?" He asked, extending his arm out to her. She took his arm gratefully and he led her down the stairs. As the portrait door closed Draco heard a click and then a patter and that repeated until it got louder. Hermione shrieked as something grabbed her and pulled her away into the darkness. Draco yelled out but the only response he heard was the voice of the person that he had hoped he would never hear again. Lucius Malfoy.
