15.1

❝where it all began❞

All of them were in the meeting room of dreamies, they decided to go to the leaders' mansion to discuss about on what's going to happen

"doesn't make sense, where the previous leaders put the hellhound and the beast is literally at the very very end of the deep ends, its not possible for them to get out within a span of an hour" Renjun commented

"not unless they have been unfrozen when we went there, putting a hellhound beside the beast isn't the best idea, they must've had different locations on where the leaders preserved them" Jaemin also commented, all of them where pointing out things that doesn't make sense

"still doesn't explain how the hell they got to escape" Jeno spoke
"what do you expect here Nurial? All unexpected becomes the expected." Haechan sighed

"what do you mean by that?" Jooyan asked Haechan
"let's just say.... Things here aren't normal, especially if it's the beacon for the Supernatural here in Korea" Chenle replied to Jooyan's question

"like beacon hills...." y/n unintentionally mumbled
"except the nemeton is still well alive, the nemeton here is not cut down" Jisung heard what y/n mumbled

"okay but will someone tell me the real story of what happened to the beast of Gevudan?" Jaemin asked, he doesn't know much about that either

"i will" y/n sighed "i know the full story of what really happened" y/n looked at all 7 leaders, seriously.

"it all started during when the French Soldiers were running from the British Soldiers in Canada around 1760s, you know other ways to become a werewolf? Besides getting a bite from an alpha" y/n asked and explained to the boys

"there's a myth that if the claws of a werewolf go deep enough, you become a werewolf" Haechan spoke
"but is it a myth tho?" y/n asked Haechan, the boy shook his head

"it happened with Kate Argent... When Peter Hale was still an alpha, he let his claws scratch Kate's throat really deep that she became a were-jaguar" Haechan explained

"but why a jaguar but not a wolf?" Jeongyun asked, he never really understood why people turn into something else when the one that bit or scratch them is a different one also

"they say the shape you take reflects the person you are" Jaemin spoke
"he's right, but that's not how Sebastian turned into a viscous werewolf though" y/n responded

"there's another myth where you drink the rain water off from a wolf's paw print" Jisung suddenly spoke
"that's right, that's how Sebastian Valet turned into a werewolf...." y/n intoned

"a werewolf that hunts at night" y/n continued
"more like murders at night" Chenle scoffed

"right... Sebastian... Or should I say, Sebastien, wrote a letter for his sister, Marie-Jeanne Valet, it was still in war, in fact, it was a 7 year war, between 1754 to 1763. He drank from a wolf's paw print near the end of the war in 1763." y/n explained

"wasn't he with someone else during the war?" Jeno asked
"yeah, his name is Marcel" y/n responded

"that's one of the dread doctors in beacon hills.... They're the ones who let the beast out of its cage years ago" Mark realized
"and also that died...." Jisung zoned out

"you guys better stay awake if you wanna hear the whole story in just a day" y/n sighed

"Sebastien wrote a letter to his sister saying that even with the help of their Indian allies, they were still loosing. A night came and both Marcel and Sebastien were severely injured deep in to the woods but luckily, they found a small shelter, with a women. The woman told them to look for a different place." y/n continued telling the story

"why tho?" Jeno asked
"the woman said there was a shapeshifter, a demon lurking near where she lives every night. Sebastien asked what she meant and the woman simply just said demon wolf." y/n responded

"a wolf that has been described differently everytime, a wolf thats big as a tree, with blue and purple eyes, surrounded by black smoke, some even said it red like fresh blood, some say it has thorns, common description? A demon." y/n continued

"can you explain who Marie-Jeanne is tho?" Jooyan asked his youngest cousin
"of course, can never say no to describe the first supernatural hunter" y/n smiled

"Marie-Jeanne was an animal hunter, a very skilled one. She was the best of Gevudan. As you all may already know, she is known as the "maid of Gevudan", the one who ended the beast, even if its her own brother. She was the one that hosted the first hunting party to hunt down the beast of Gevudan."

"She was a very skeptic woman though, even if Sebastien told her about everything he saw during the war, she was still not convinced about the big demon wolf, not until the hunting party started. it was during the dawn, She was the last hunter standing, ready to kill the beast, not until she was face to face with the beast."

"she shot her crossbow at the beast, nothing happened, she did what was the only that she could do, she ran. Ran at the middle of nowhere, boom! Trapped by the beast, she was ready to die till a mysterious man came and threw something that was like the ashes of the dead infront of them" y/n explained further

"mountain ash" Jisung answered, y/n nodded indicating that he was right.

"the beast couldn't get pass through the mountain ash anymore, so the beast ran away." y/n stopped there

"y/n? Who was the mysterious guy?" Haechan asked
"Henri Argent"

BTW GUYS THIS IS CHAPTER 15 PART 1- the story of the beast is quite long so...... Yeah 😀
