Anna's POV: i was still in conscious with pain every where, barely breathing, talking, and barely being able to open my eyes
me: eva..
i could hear a little and see eva calling, she was crying. 10 mins later she hung up
eva: anna can you hear me? please stay with me, help is coming just please stay with me
me: eva..
eva: yes?
me: if i don't make i-
eva: PLASE DONT SAY THAT STUFF ANN-
me: e- eva it's okay... if i don't make it, just know. i love you. i always will. just like i always have.
she kissed me. as she did i could feel her tears falling on my face, as mine did too
eva: i'm sorry i wasn't here anna. i'm sorry i-
me: it's not your fault. i caused this. i caused the damage. i deserve this-
eva: please don't. don't say that
me: i don't deserve you eva
eva: no stop. i love you anna

i tried to finish but started coughing and coughing blood. i started losing conscious and my eyes felt heavy. as i was losing it, i could hear eva calling out for my name. my eyes closed and my breathing was slowly fading. i had lost it.
Eva's POV: i'm holding anna and i cry and scream out for help. 6 mins later i heard the ambulance. i raised my arm to show them where we are. the ambulance found us and quickly moved me out of the way. they picked anna up with stretchers. they put her in and i tried to go with

p: sorry ma'am, this is very tragic we need every space to help
me: that's my girlfriend
p: please meet us at the hospital
me: please take care of her
p: we'll do our very best
he got in with anna and they all drove off. the police were investigating the gun and taking it away. i ran to my car and drove to the hospital. i rushed out and ran in.
me: can anyone help?! i'm trying to find someone
me: please
a doctor then came towards me
d: shumate family?
me: yes. here. where is she??
d: right now we're taking her in surgery. from what we've taken, the bullet didn't go through. which can be very difficult to take out in surgery. the wound also seems to of gotten affected which makes this even harder to work with-
me: okay but you're a doctor, i need to know you're good and that you'll do whatever it takes to make her better please.
d: i will ma'am, i'll have someone update you every 2 hours during surgery
me: thank you
d: of course
he then left and i sat waiting and hoping everything goes good. i called the girls to tell them what happened and where we are. they said they were on the way here which is good. anna needs all the support she needs to get better. 20 mins later they arrived
sab: is she okay??
me: not sure, she's in surgery right now
emma: what the doctors say?
me: they said it's risky, the bullet didn't go through
dev: damn it anna
me: all we can do right now is hope for the best
dev: yeah
2 hours went by and the doctor came
me: how is she?
d: she's doing good, the surgery in general is fine
emma: how long is it going to be?
d: we're not sure yet, but it shouldn't take more than 6 hours, is that fine?
me: take all the time you need but just please make her better
d: yes ma'am
he left and we waited more and more. 2 hours went by again and he came back, we all stood up to know the news
d: surgery is still going, we had a complication but it's all good now. we hadn't taken out the bullet yet but we're working on every other injury she's gotten by it
me: okay thank you
d: of course
he went back. we sat back down. 2 hours then passed. the girls were asleep, i was tired but couldn't sleep. i waited for the doctor but he never came. i was worried. what if something happened? what if she doesn't wake? i need her. 1 hour later he came
d: all finished. surgery went well, she's resting right now but she's fine
me: oh god thank you so much
d: of course, would you like to see her?
me: yes please
i woke the girls and we followed the doctor to the room with anna. once i saw her it broke my heart seeing her tubed up. i went up to her, held her hand, and kissed her head.
me: hey bebs, you can't hear me right now but i love you.
i pulled a chair and sat on it while still holding her hand and looking at her
dev: damn second time her for this fucker
emma: can you not. she could've died and you're here making jokes
dev: you're right. sorry.... bitch
emma: really?
dev: hehe fine i'll stop
we waited about an hour and she started to wake
anna: (groans)
me: ANNA
anna: hey (smiles)
