Deeks was awaken by his phone buzzing in his pocket "Deeks" he answered the phone "hello Mr deeks" hetty greeted him, he got up away from kensi so he could talk with out waking her "how is she" hetty asked "um well shes been better" he mumbled "well Mr Hannah and Mr Callen would like to see her today if you think she's ready" Deeks thought about it for a second and peeked around the corner at his sleeping partner "yeah hetty I think she can handle it but make sure they know it can only be short" he replied "ok Mr deeks they should be there around ten" and with that she hung up the phone
Deeks started to cook breakfast for him and kensi hoping she could eat today. A few minutes into him cooking kensi stumbled into the kitchen and sat on the counter next to where deeks was cooking "you hungry" he looked at her and smiled "I little" she smiled "good" he continued to cook "Sam and Callen are coming over later....if it's ok with you" he said quickly forgetting he hadnt even asked her "yeah i-i would like to see them" she said sliding off the counter and sitting at the table
Deeks was in the bathroom while kensi was getting dressed when they heard the door bell ring kensi decided to just put on some sweats and an only ncis t-shirt figuring they wouldn't care. She opened the door with a small smile on her face "kensi!" they both said in unison and Sam went in for a hug, with out realizing it he hugged her tight and she almost screamed in pain. "oh my god kens I am so sorry I wasn't thinking" he tried to cover up his mistake but kensi already had a tear in her face "i-its ok" she smiled and wiped the tear off her cheek Callen decided to skip the hug and just kissed her on the forehead. Deeks came out with beers greeted them both, all four of them sat down "how have you been kens" Callen asked "I'm getting better" she smiled at him "some cuts and bruises but they'll heal soon" she tried to reassure them " yeah we know that but how are you" Sam emphasised the you "I will be ok" her smile fell and she was now looking at Sam in the eyes "take your time kens" Callen looked sympathetically at her and she smiled at him "what about you deeks how are you holding up" Callen asked "me? I'm fine... I'm ultra fine...I'm great" he took it too far and they all knew he was lying but they decided to leave it alone for know for kensi's sake
