Sungho P.O.V
Sa pagtakbo namin sa hallway para puntahan si wooyeon, biglang bumukas ang ilaw, napahinto ako sa paghila kay areum.
"Bakit? May problema ba, Sungho?" She asked.
"Pakiramdam ko, hindi tayo ligtas sa daan na 'to, sa kabila tayo dumaan." Hinila ko siyang muli at lumiko sa kanang bahagi. Hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko ro'n.
"Sungho." Bumitaw siya sa pagkakakapit ko sa kamay niya at saka sumilip sa bintana.
Mabilis naman akong lumapit sakaniya at saka muling sumilip sa bintana na 'yon, bintana 'yon mula sa labas ng school, lahat sila ay nakahandusay sa sahig at walang mga malay. May iilang school admins na nando'n, nakasuot sila ng faceshield at facemask.
'Anong nangyayari?'
Muli kong kinapitan ang kanang kamay ni areum, "Kailangan natin maging maingat, huwag ka humiwalay sa'kin."
She nodded, kinapitan niya rin ang kamay ko ng mahigpit. Sa pagdating namin sa comfort room, wala na ro'n si wooyeon.
"Saan siya pumunta? Baka kasama na siya ni taewoon, baka isa sila sa nando'n sa labas na nakahandusay at walang malay. Anong ginagawa nila? Hindi ko maintindihan ang nangyayari, Sungho."
"Huminahon ka, Areum. Ligtas si wooyeon, hindi siya papabayaan ni taewoon."
Her breaths quickened. Alam kong labis siyang nagaalala kay wooyeon. Wala rin akong ideya kung ano ang nangyayari.
Pero may biglang sumulpot na dalawang lalaki na nakita rin namin mula sa labas, may dala silang tear gas grenade. "Kayo nalang ang hinihintay." Saad nito sa'min.
"Ano ba sa tingin ninyo ang ginagawa ninyo? Nasisiraan na ba kayo?" She ran her hand through her hair and she gave them a bitter smile, she blinked slowly as its face returned to seriousness
She had coils of curly leaf-brown hair, she had pouting lips and she was wasp-waisted.
Hindi ko rin akalain na may itinatago rin siyang katapangan. Pareho sila ni wooyeon, talaga nga na magkapatid sila. Strong-willed and brilliant.
"Are you ready, Sungho?"
She bitterly smiled,
"Are you ready to be a criminal?" Hindi ako makapaniwala ng bigla niyang ilabas ang dalawang beretta m9 handgun.
Inihagis niya sa'kin ang isa at nasalo ko naman 'yon.
"Mga hangal. Hindi lang kayo school admins, isa rin kayong mga abogado di'ba? Kriminal laban sa kriminal, magandang laro 'to." Mahinahong saad niya sa mga 'to.
Aktong papakawalan na ng mga lalaking nasa harapan namin ang tear gas grenade mula sa maliit na lalagyan nito ng biglang kinalabit ni areum ang trigger nito.
Sinugod niya ang mga 'yon at saka niya sinipa ang hawak nilang tear gas grenade. Mabilis ko namang nilapitan ang isa sa mga lalaking nando'n at kinwelyuhan siya, "Nasa'n ang ibang estudyante, anong nangyayari? Bakit ninyo ginagawa sa'min ang walang kwentang bagay na 'to?"
Hindi nito sinagot ang katanungan ko, binitawan ko siya at kinasa ang baril at saka tinutok 'yon sakaniya.
