Gulf kept hearing her name everywhere in his college the next day . Apparently the new transfer student was the heiress to a huge corporation , up till that it was fine . What irked him was ..... 
"Mewwwww " 
The gorgeous girl plopped herself right next to Mew and clung to his arm like there was no tomorrow , if Mew was uncomfortable he didn't show it , rather he seemed quite happy to see her . 
Mine ! My Boyfriend!  Gulf wanted to rip her hands off Mew's arm Woah why am I feeling so violent 
Gulf was lost in his thoughts not knowing that he was staring at them
"Oh you are Gulf right ?" She asked looking at him suddenly with a smile
"Huh? Oh yeah Hi nice to meet you , I'm Gulf Kanawut , Mew's ...." 
He looked at Mew as though confused as to what his introduction should be , Mew noticed and said 
"Oh she knows about us Gulf don't worry " 
She knows about us? to what extent ? like the bf part or the pretend part ? 

As if she could hear his thoughts , "Mew told me a lot about you , 'boyfriends' " she said with a knowing smile 
Fudge she knows 
Mew told her...  He could feel a sinking pit in his stomach 

"Oh by the way Gulf , can we postpone today's date to tomorrow , I have to take Erica somewhere "
Gulf nodded at him , not looking up from his food  
"What? you had a date planned? Mew stop it you don't need to cancel that for me " 
"But our thing is important "
"stop it , go on your date " 
"Hmm okay "

Gulf felt terrible , What was going on ? He did not want to go on a charity date just because some Erica said it was okay .

"No its fine ,the cafe will probably be busy anyway ,you should go with Erica "
"No He will go with you " 
"No he said he had something important with you "
"That can be done later , He is going on a date with you! "
"No He wants to go with YOU !" 
"No you!" 
"No you!" 
 Mew was looking back and forth as Gulf and Erica had their 'argument'..? until it was just getting louder and louder 
"Stop it !! Is going with me so bad ?? that both of you keep pushing me off to the other " 
"No that's not what I meant - " Gulf said as though suddenly realizing Mew was sitting there 

"Okay so then we are going on that date today " Mew said cutting him off
"Nice! " Erica said before grinning at Mew and walking off
Gulf was looking at her walking off when he suddenly felt his face being turned by a hand 
"Why are you staring at her , makes me jealous "
Gulf's heart soared for a millisecond before crashing as he realized Mew meant he was jealous of Gulf for Erica. Of course why would he ever be jealous of me  , We are just  pretending after all . 

I hate that word now - 'pretense'

Gulf thought as he turned away and continued eating his food .
