There is something beautiful about sunsets. Most of the times, I admire its colors and the way it can make you feel things like how art is supposed to do. I admire how the Creator above us wanted to teach us something through arts and colors. How sunsets give endings and goodbye a beautiful restart. That saying goodbye takes time... like the twilight.

Playing with the azure waters on my feet, and the sand beneath my body, I cannot take my eyes off the blazing orange sun in front of me.

Beside me is Alder, grazing my fingers with his. We are wearing a matching light blue t-shirt earlier. Hinubad ko lang ang akin dahil nilagay kong pang sapin sa inuupuan ko para hindi dumikit ang buhangin sa puwetan ko dahil basa ito. We didn't bring any mat. Plano lang talaga naming maglakad-lakad para tignan ang lugar kung saan gaganapin ang kasal ni Corly at Brian.

They're both from Dumaguete so their best option is to hold their wedding here in Apo Island. Ilang minuto lang ang biyahe mula sa Dumaguetes City proper.

From afar, I can see the rock formations, surrounded by its lively reefs and coves. May iilan din mga bulubundukin na nakapalibot at sa malayong parte ng dagat ay mayroon ding nakabukod at nakahiwalay na isla.

"Should I take a picture of you?" Tanong ni Alder, hawak hawal ang camera niya.

I nodded.

My stringed black bikini looks pretty. Alder bought it for me before me went here. He said he has no problems whether I wear bikinis or not. And he even wants me to take a picture of me.

"It's your body, Cadi." He would always say.

"Pose for the camera, okay?" He lifted his arms and looked at the camera. Ako naman, tumitig sa camera lens at ngumiti.

He took a lot of pictures and I had fun posing for him. Magaganda ang mga kuha niya.

"Puwede na pang Tumblr at Pinterest 'to ah!"

"Maganda ka kasi..." Banat niya.

"Do you always find me pretty?"

"Always." He answered huskily, kissing my shoulder blade.

"Hmm, kahit walang makeup?"

"Especially without makeup."

Ngumisi ako at binagsak ang tingin sa camera. Mayroon doong kuha na hinihipan ng hangin ang buhok ko at sa likuran ay ang paglubog ng araw. Natatamaan ang aking mukha ng sinag ng araw pero mas nagpaganda iyon sa litrato.

Noon, I am so confident that I'm so pretty because it's true. Ngayon, wala namang nagbago. Maganda pa rin ako, mas maganda nga lang.

"Dapat pala nag photographer ka na lang."

"And you'll be my model?" Nagtaas siya ng kilay.

"Uh huh... Bakit, may balak ka bang kumuha ng ibang babae para maging model mo?" Tikhim ko.
