POV CAITLIN:

Since I arrived at this laboratory and this city, my life has been a roller coaster of feelings. I never thought that a place could change a person's life as it changed mine. Not only did I receive a second fantastic family, I also have a phenomenal job, which I love, but I also received the greatest gift in the world, Ronnie.

Do you know that person who can instantly brighten your day with just a good morning ?! Well, that was Ronnie! I never thought I would like someone like I liked him, however not everything in life is a bed of roses and after a remarkable event in the city of Central City, the love of my life gave its life itself to save us. Fighting this feeling of pain and loss took some time, but with the right people at our side, we achieved everything.

But then a fantastic thing happened, isn't it that after all my Ronnie had survived the Particle Accelerator explosion ?! It is true! In the first few months we still tried to resume our relationship, but a lot had already happened during the time he was "dead" and we both came to the conclusion that we were better off as friends, moreover as best friends.

After he returned to this lab, he started helping us both with lab work, such as equipment repairs or helping us make new formulas, but he also started to accompany Barry and Wally on missions. Right now we were finishing our shift at STAR Labs, when my computer alarm went off, telling us that meta-human activity was taking place.

While our three super heroes went out to equip, Cisco, Wells and I were trying to find out more about this meta-human that was causing caos in our city. We didn't know it yet, but the next few minutes were going to be crazy and it's not one of those good crazy things!

Unfortunately the five minutes had just passed and that meant that in a few seconds, Ronnie will die! I will not lie to you and say that the following days were easy, because the truth is that they were not. There was a lot of hurt and guilt inside me and it took me a little while, but do you know when they say that time heals everything ?! Well, it's true!

The only thing I could do was keep my promise to Ronnie, which is why when Barry asked me to be his girlfriend, I accepted. When he, two years later, asked me to marry him, I accepted and when, three years later, I found out I was pregnant, I decided to call my future son, Ronnie, to honor the great love of my life!
