"Is this what we're doing now?", Maddie asked, fake mad. "Yes, you guys started it. I don't make the rules." "I would just like to say that I don't want to have anything to do with this." I stared at Rudy with a questioning look and Maddie and Chase had the exact same expression on their faces. "You're the one who started this stupid.", Chase said. "What? How is this my fault?" ""Oh and here's Kelly B looking hot as always".", Maddie mimicked a male voice and I couldn't help but laugh. Rudy blushed and looked at me for help. "That doesn't count, I said he was hot too." "Exactly!", Chase screamed, which made him earn a slap in the arm from me for yelling. "What is wrong with that? We all know everyone here is hot.", I defended myself. And Rudy too actually. "Yes, but you don't hear us constantly pointing that out." "I don't!" "Didn't say it was you.", Chase smirked and pointed at Rudy, who blushed harder. "Why are you guys always throwing me under the bus?", he asked. "You basically ask for it dude." "Why do you guys make it such a big deal though? What's wrong with compliments?", I asked. "There's nothing wrong with it, it's just funny to mess with you guys.", Maddie answered. "And also because there's meaning behind those compli-" Rudy interrupted Chase. "Alright, who wants to go for a swim?" The blonde boy got up and started making his way to the beach. Chase was containing his laugh and Maddie was looking at me with a smile on her lips. "What?" "You two are so oblivious." "Oh you wanna talk about that?" "Stop. Shut up. Let's go swim." "Yeah that's what I thought."
