Don't Say Goodnight = Joe Sugg

It was finally the weekend and I was finishing up my shift at work. I had gotten a few Text’s from my friends, but I wasn’t really in the mood to go out tonight. All I wanted to do was grab some Nando’s, curl up on my sofa and watch Nexflix. Around 7:50 pm, I walked out of the building and sown the street. ” Y/n! ” someone shouted. I glanced around, but kept walking, ” Y/n!! ” they shouted again. This time I stopped and looked around, a car pulled up beside me and it was none other than the Suggs. ” Y/n, hope in. It’s time to Party! ” Joe cheered, I shook my head ” I’m really tired “. ” Oh come on, it’s Friday night! Have some fun y/n ” Zoe smiled,    ” Please ” Joe frowned giving me puppy dog eyes. ” Urgh Fine ” I sighed getting into the car.

We drove 30 minutes to the beach, ” What are we doing here? ” I asked them. ” It’s a late night beach party , Come on! ” Joe smiled, I got out of the car and glanced around. There were half naked people everywhere and here I stand still in my work uniform, I pulled off my work shirt ( Luckily I had a tank top underneath it ). ” Come on, let’s get a drink ” Joe exclaimed, I nodded and followed him. I ran into most of my friends and after saying Hi to each of them I found Joe, ” Here you go ” he chuckled handing me a blue plastic cup. Loud music played and you could tell some people were getting ready to set off fireworks, ” So how was work? ” Joe asked me. ” It was normal and boring ” I laughed, he smiled. [ I’d known Joe and Zoe for quiet a while, our parents have been friends for most of our lives. I always had a secret little crush on Joe, but he treats me like how he treats Zoe…. Like a Sister. ] We sat there for a few seconds, ” So… The sun is going down ” he sighed. I chuckled ” Yeah, that’s what it does “, he laughed ” I know, I’m just pointing it out. Because it’s pretty “. I nodded ” It is “, he chugged the remainder of his beer. ” Oh look I need another ” he sighed, I finished up mine ” Yeah, me too “. He smiled ” Well way to go y/n, I’ll be right back “, he quickly walked away ( Why is this so awkward, it’s not like I haven’t been alone with him before ).

An hour later I was swaying to the music and singing along to most of the songs, it was dark and the stars were shinning bright. Someone had started a bonfire, I plopped down in the sand next to Joe. ” You're crazy y/n ” he chuckled, I playfully pushed him. ” In a good way tho ” he smiled, ” Well okay them! ” I shouted which caused him to laugh. ” Start the Fireworks already! ” I shouted, a few minutes later they started. Joe and I were both handed sparklers, ” Whoa! ” I yelled waving around. Joe chuckled, one of his friends called him over. ” Y/n, stay here, I’ll be right back ” he sighed, ” Okay Joe…. Why? ” I giggled. ” I just want to tell you something okay ” he said getting up, I nodded ( What is going on? ). I pulled out my phone to check the time,  ” Oh shit it’s 1:30am ” I said out loud. A few people around me who had been making out stopped long enough to laugh, a few minutes later Joe walked back over by me. ” Come on, let’s go somewhere else “ he said pointing to the kissing pairs, I nodded. We walked down by the water and sat in the damp sand, ” So what did you want to talk to me about? ” I asked. He suddenly got nervous ” Uhh, so are you enjoying the party? “, I chuckled ” It’s cool, are you enjoying it? ” I asked him. He nodded ” Yeah “, ” Why are you so nervous? ” I questioned.      ” I’m not! ” he exclaimed as he started tapping his foot, ” Really? ” I rolled my eyes. He laughed ” Okay, well I’ve been wanting to tell you something for a while now. I’m just a little nervous about telling you “, I sighed ” Joe, I’ve known you for a long time. You can tell me anything “. He nodded ” I know “, there was a few more awkward moments of silence. ” Well It’s getting pretty late maybe we should get going ” I smiled, he shook his head no ” I’m not ready to go yet! “. I looked at him confused ” Okay… “, I started to get up but he pulled me back down.    ” Y/n, we’ve been friends for a long time right? ” he smiled, ” Yeah, Years. Joe we just established this.. Get to the point ” I chuckled. He was about ready to say something else but Zoe came running down to use, ” You know he fancy’s you, right? ” she giggled. I stared at him ” Oh really? “, ” Zoe, Piss off ” he mumbled. She ran back to the other party people laughing.

" Is that what you wanted to talk to me about? " I smirked, he nodded. " So you like me? " I asked him, he chuckled " Yeah, that’s why I was so nervous ". I smiled, " Y/n I was worried about whether or not you felt the same way " he sighed and looked down. " Well don’t worry, I do " I smirked, " Really? ". I shoved him playfully " Duh!! ", he hugged me " Good! ". We stood up and walked closer to the party, " Still want to go home? " he asked me, I smirked " What do you think! ". He smiled and Kissed me.

I see Love in your eyes and if you see it in Mine, Let’s wait til tomorrow. Don’t say Good, say Good. Please Don’t Say Goodnight!
