elizabeths hands rapidly flew up to cup around her forehead in response to the banging pain, mollys head has clumsily smashed into hers as she ran around the cabin like a lunatic

"MOLLY" the captain yelled out in frustration, she could already feel the humongous bruise that was about to form

"im sorry! have you seen tiago?! ive been looking all over for him" molly pleaded back

elizabeth didnt respond before taking a step back away from her friend

"no i haven't, and why are you in such a rush to find him?"

mollys dough eyes grew ever larger than before "I may have accidentally broken his favourite painting"

this time elizabeths hands landed palm flat on her face, molly could be the biggest klutz sometimes, and yet somehow elizabeth always ended up feeling bad for her friend

"stay put for the time being okay? ill go find tiago, we dont need you breaking even more things"

mollys shoulder shrugged down as her body limped over to take a seat by the dining area, her lips quivered in fear for the disappointment she was about to receive by her good friend for breaking his treasured possession

elizabeth wondered where the shy guy had gone, she had seen molly run all around the cabin, searching every corner in sight, so there was only one place where he could have been

she took a step outside, the fresh air hitting her face like a harsh slap, it was late in the afternoon so the cool breeze was sweeping along the fields and rivers vigorously

just as she had suspected, there in the verdant patches of grass, sat tiago with his back facing the cabin

elizabeth quietly stepped down to be able to sit down next to tiago, she could tell by the way he was slouching that he also wasn't having the best of days

together they sat in complete silence for a couple of minutes, gazing into the horizon as the sky finally began to paint its glorious colours as the sun went down

that was until tiago mustered up the courage to break the silence

"how do i make someone like me"

elizabeths head shot round to peer into his direction, it was such a blunt and forward question, completely out of character for him

"what do you mean? we all like you" she responded softly

a flash of annoyance passed through his face, elizabeth wasn't understanding what he was trying to hint at

"i mean.. i mean really like, you know,.. like love i guess" he mumbled

"OH" she quickly replied, it had finally clicked for her what tiago was trying to explain

"well im not really the right person to ask but, i guess being yourself right? thats what people always seem to say, but personally i would advise you to reach out, make your presence be known to that person" she said leaning her head back slightly to continue gazing at the beautifully warm-toned sky

tiago began to awkwardly fiddle around with his fingers, it was difficult for him to show his emotions in that way, to be seen so vulnerable by his peers

"im sorry i kind of laid this all down on you elizabeth, i just kind of assumed you would know since you and levi-

elizabeth sharply interrupted his sentence, bringing back her concentration to the conversation as she spat out "me and levi arent.. well we arent dating, were friends thats it"

now tiago was the one which looked baffled out of his mind

"but, but the kiss?" he said confusedly

elizabeths heart dropped

"what.. what kiss tiago?" she said reaching out for his shoulder, she stared at his eyes maddeningly as tiago sunk back into the ground, slowly regretting having opened his mouth about what he had witnessed a couple nights back

"that night.. uh when we all went out for drinks. you got a bit tipsy and you ended up making out with levi, molly and adelheid brought you back home shortly after"

the silence was deadly in between the two

"do you not remember any of this?" he asked nervously

elizabeth shook her head and raised her legs to be brought back up from sitting, her throat felt dry and her eyes felt sore with hurt, she hadn't been able to recall anything from that night, it had all just been one hazy dream

so she had kissed levi?
