Ghosts of the past

Third Person’s POV

The agent stared at the beautiful lady in front of him, completely astonished. Had she just kissed him?

Oh, she had.

Her soft and tasty lips had met his in such an intense kiss that seduced him instantly. Oh, where’s the strong agent now?

He could not even let out a word or anything that would make sense, at all.

“I guess I should have done that a long time ago” She whispered, caressing his face.

Robert shut his eyes tightly, before opening them again.

It was real. It was really happening

“B-Belle… You… what are you doing?” he took a deep breath

“You are everything to me, you know?” she asked, biting her lip “The only one I can trust, the only one that…” she let her head fall into his chest, trying to hide the insecurity invading her and the panic she felt just to think in the possibility he might leave her, in the end, for Emma “I just don’t want to lose you”

“Belle” His arms instantly held her tight “I will never go anywhere” He made her look at him “I am crazy about you. I am… so in love with you”

Her petite arms tightened around him. Her heart melted to such words, even more because she knew he was being truthful and sincere, as he always was to her.

“I never saw this one coming, I promise. I have worked with Emma for a really long time and she never did such a thing.” He whispered “But I promise you, Belle, I did not let her do anything. She made her move and I stopped her, I promise you. You are the thief of my heart, my lady, probably since those times when you were still in Aphrodite. Maybe everything was still too fresh on my mind but, I have always felt so damned attracted to you. I guess I am a really lucky one, and bless the drunken guy who dragged me into Aphrodite, on that damned night” He looked down “I know I… I am not proud of what I did to you that night, I am just saying that… I got to meet you. And… you saved my life.” He took a deep breath “And I think Ash would accept this”

Belle took a deep breath, wiping away the tears she could no longer hold back. “Rob…” she smiled between sobs. It amazed her how he would never forget his wife, he would always mention her, no matter what.

She caressed his face “I know you did not let her make her move, I heard everything. And now I feel ashamed for it. I trust you.  And… you are everything to me” Belle whispered “I am sure Ash would just want you to be happy” She took a deep breath “But, Emma has a point… I cannot give you what…”

“Ooh, shhh, do not finish that” His fingers softly touched her lips “I have told you, Belle. You are giving me everything I could ever wish for! You make me good… you make me happy” he took a deep breath “And… please do not tell me you kissed me because of all this… just…” he shocked his head “You do not have to do it”

Belle smiled “I was not sure but… I certainly do not regret that”

The agent showed a small smile “Trust me, me neither.” He touched her lips “You are amazing… I just do not want you to feel you have to do it. You do not have to”

“I want to. I feel it…” She bit her lip

The smile on Robert’s face could light the entire world, after hearing her words “You think… you are… wow!” He took her in his arms “You think you are starting to...” he smiled “Feel it?”

She giggled “Well, I definitely felt it, down there”

“Oh…” he gulped “Sorry, I do not mean to... be inappropriate I just, really, cannot control it” he whispered
