The sun began to steadily dive deeper into the train of fluffy clouds. Street lights started turning on, two on every deserted street. "Hey, what do you say we stop by there?" From the corners of my peripherals he puts his index finger up and I squint out into the harsh air.
"A jewelry parlor?" It sparked my interest so we picked up our pace. From his long nails dug deep into my arm to his quick and small giggles, my heart leaped a mile every time.
"Yeah I mean why not? I like you Kiyoomi, a lot. Let's get promise rings— my treat." With every rushed step we walked, he let out brisk gasps of air. We freeze to a stop in front of the parlor,
"You what? Me- you like me?" I asked him in disbelief. He just returned a playful smile and removed his hold from my arm, patting me on the shoulder instead.
"Gosh. Don't be so stiff! I said what I said now c'mon." Was the last thing he said before dragging me by the collar into a warm shop.
