As I sat on a SHIELD plane that was headed to New York, I still couldn't quite believe what Phil had told me. Steve was alive after being frozen for 70 years. It just seemed impossible, but with everything that had happened in my life I should have stopped believing in the impossible a long time ago. We drove to the airport in complete silence, as I tried to process everything that I had been told. Even little Elsa knew something big had happened, but really didn't seem to understand.

I didn't want to get her hopes up that she might finally meet her Daddy, I had spent so long explaining to her that he wasn't going to come home and didn't want to break her little heart if something went wrong. So, I read all the files back-to-back, making sure I didn't miss a thing on the plane while Phil entertained Elsa by reading her Disney Princess stories. He was currently rereading Beauty and the Beast to her for the second time and while trying to let the information that I had just read sink in. From what all the reports said, he was completely fine. Because of Dr Erskine's serum, he had survived being frozen and stayed in some sort of suspended state. The whole thing confused me and I was starting to wish that I had brought my mother with me, after all this type of her stuff was her specialty.

"Kimberly, were about to start landing procedures," Phil told me as he buckled Elsa in to the seat next to me.

"Thank you for everything, Phil."

He smiled at me, knowing that I wasn't just referring to him reading stories to Elsa.

"Anytime Kimberly. When we land, we will be going to a Stark Industries owned building and we will get you settled in for the night and tomorrow morning we will head to SHEILD headquarters."

"Uncle Phil, will Aunty Nat and Uncle Clint be there?" Elsa asked, hopeful that two of her favourite people would be there to meet us.

"I'm sorry sweetie, they are off doing something very important. But I'm sure they will come and see you soon," Phil told her as he handed her the pink, soft cat toy that she had left on the seat next to him.

"But you might be able to meet someone else who is very special tomorrow," I told her as she looked up at me, cuddling her pink cat.

"Who is it, Mummy?"

"It's a surprise, princess. You will just have to wait and see."
