After a few weeks of being here, it began normal, teaching and mostly spending time with Remus. Remus always was there, he helped a lot with my nerves and was also just there to talk to me no matter what the issue was. He made me feel safe and at home with him. That was until a couple of days ago...

Usually, when I finish a lesson I would regularly go to sit with Remus or help in his classes. He always says he appreciated me helping him out and liked me being there with him even though I didn't have to. When he'd say that I would blush and try and laugh it off thinking he was only like this to be kind. But that was until today when he seems a little distant.
Normally in the morning, he would wait for me to go down to breakfast together, but this morning he didn't. I was getting ready when I hear his door open and slam more aggressively than normal. I was expecting a knock on the door, but I just heard his boots heavily walk down the corridor. Confused, I stuck my head out the door and saw him walk down the stairs. I shrug my shoulders and finish getting ready for the day.

I walk down to the hall to see Remus sitting at the table with his head down and not talking to anyone. This never happens usually Remus would talk with the others as soon as we both sat down with each other, but today he just didn't seem himself. I wanted to cheer him up so I walk to the table and smile at him.
"Morning. How did you sleep?" Remus grunts, which isn't normal for him.
"Fine." He says with a sort of annoyance in his voice. I didn't want to bother him so we ate in silence. He finishes and stands up. He walks away not even saying 'Goodbye' I look at him leave and sigh sadly.
'I guess Snape was right...' I finish and leave for the day.
