After studying for 2 hours, I checked my phone. I had 3 missed calls from Stace so I immediately called her back.
“What is it?” I asked.
“What did I talk about in the park?” She sounded terrified.
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t remember what I told you in the park!” She cried out.
“Stop joking Stace. It was a long day for me. Just hang up if you want to joke.”
“I swear on my mom. I remember that I told you about a psychiatrist that I know and asked you that you don’t believe in ghosts. After that what did you say? And how did I get home?!”
She only had her mom and I knew how much she loved her. She wasn’t lying.
“How is that possible? You don’t even remember going home?” I asked.
“I felt like I woke up from a deep sleep- I- I don’t know.” She uttered.
“Can- can we talk about it in school?” I asked because I was creeped out to hear that.
“Alright. See ya.”
I drank chilled water. I was sweating. I felt exhausted so I went to bed but didn’t dare to turn off the lights.
5 minutes after I shut my eyes, my phone buzzed.
