Kei Evermoore

My name is Kei'Mira. I'm a non-binary poet. I aspire to be more insightful in life. To be optimistic yet, to not forget that there isn't always a happy ending.

 I've dabbled in poetry from a young age gaining most of my inspiration from my favorite author Edgar Allan Poe. I want to have my work recognized for stepping outside the social norms. I believe if you can't see the beauty in darkness then you'll never see the truth in light. 

My goal is to inspire fellow poets to embrace their darker side and let the creativity flow; to break the binds of the 'status quo' of society so they too can be free from the beautiful lies in life. 

I possess a strong educational background in graphic arts, having successfully completed an associate degree in this field with cum laude honors from Independence University. 

One of my unique approaches to my craft is creating captivating illustrated artwork to complement the poems I write. I strive to ensure that my art not only reflects the essence of the poems directly but also captures the overall atmosphere and mood they convey. By intertwining my artistic skills with my passion for poetry, I aim to create a harmonious fusion of visual and written expression.
