I just love reading books. I love how everything the author has imagined comes together.
I love how the plot intertwines with each other and brings out the best or the worst in characters.

I love how I can read a scene and just picture each and every detail, and know that the movie will never be as great as my own imagination.

It's so awesome how we have received something so great, something so amazing which is called a brain.
It's amazing how all that we do, all that we feel or touch or see comes so naturally.

It's really a gift that we have received to be able to do so many things without even thinking.
And by appreciating all of this greatness: I read.
I read because no robot will be able to understand the bliss that we receive from reading these books. Yes, they are merely words. But these "words" sparks our attention and it moves our hearts, and grabs our spirit. Because it's more than just a couple of words.

It's our way of reimagining things, a better life or just a way of escaping reality. Helping us to face the world with a better perspective.

For some this may seem exaggerated or maybe uncalled for, but to those who gets a thrill out of a plot change or a frustration out of a cliff hanger, it will seem like the most relatable explanation to our fetish for books.

Yeah, it's just books but these books shapes us. They mold us. And I want to thank the one who made all of this possible: Our Creator, God.

We could have just been robots who doesn't feel an adrenaline rush when going through something exciting. We could've been heartless but thanks to Him we have this amazing gift of love.

So read. It will make things better.
