Hey guys! I'm Shelly. Writing has been my passion since I was 10 years old and won a Young Author's award. I hope to be published and have a movie made from my work one day. That's the dream. I'm a sucker for a good love story and happy endings. Here's a bit about me:

I was the shy, quiet girl in high school that had glasses & braces & was invisible. The smart, artistic type with social anxiety. Sophomore year I got contacts, got my braces off, highlighted my hair & grew to 5'10. That year I met my now husband. He transferred to our school & was the star basketball player from Texas. He sat by me in Study Hall & wanted to talk & I just wanted to get my homework done. We didn't like each other at all. He thought I was a nerd & I thought he was annoying. 

I went off to college & came out of my shell, made a lot of good friends & had the time of my life. The hottest guy in school/captain of the soccer team asked me out. On our date I was so shy & awkward. I didn't catch onto his hints that he liked me. I was totally clueless. After two years of college I came home & started working. I did local bridal fashion shows & got 2nd place in a state beauty pageant. 

I started dating a 6'7 police officer that was a former All-American football player & baseball player. Well he dumped me on Valentine's Day by text message & I was so broken-hearted. A week later I went to a friend's party to wallow in self pity & ran into the guy from high school that was the basketball star that I thought was annoying. We talked for hours, fell in love, got married & now have two kids. ♥
