I've been writing since I was in high school, from short stories to fan fiction, but only in the last few years have I committed to an original book of my own. I completed my first novel in fall of 2019, and the world has changed dramatically since then. I elected to leave my story unchanged, maintaining my original vision, because it is a story that I've wanted to tell and because it reflects that stage in my life as a writer. 

I've always been fascinated by the genre of mecha. From Gundam, to Vision of Escaflowne, to The King of Braves, to Pacific Rim, it's been a constant facet of my personal interests. The ability for a small, mortal person to step into something larger and vastly more powerful than themselves has been an incredible storytelling device. It taps into our innate drive to expand ourselves beyond our limits through our own creations, all without ever losing that vulnerable human core. The machines may be colossal, but at their heart are people, with people problems, emotions, and desires. My first story is very much the culmination of that philosophy, and I hope to share my love of the genre in a way that compels and entertains. 

I just want to thank anyone and everyone who has taken the time to read my stories, even if only partially, and hope you all find enjoyment in the worlds and characters I envision.
