LOCKED AWAY

i've locked away my feelings because of my misserable past. I don't even plan on opening it anymore. I've become this cold hearted man that nobody would dare talk to or even get close to. I tried hard to keep the locks intackt and promised to never make the same mistake again. i did everything that was against humanity(kill etc.) I did everything that my old self would never do. But why do i feel like something is wrong when you're with me? why do i feel like the locks i've tried hard keeping intackt is opening one by one without my permission? Why does my heart beat so fast when i hear you call out to me? nobody would even dare talk to me yet you are standing right in front of me introducing yourself like there was nothing wrong. Each time i caught you staring at me, you would avert your gaze quickly and find yourself blushing. Each time you talk to me feels like a lock keeps on being unlocked. I promised myself not to open it again but it's opening on its own will like it doesn't have a master. It's becoming hard on me. taking this all in, i find myself thinking about you. I find myself worrying whenever i don't see you. Why am i being like this all of a sudden? you came to me like a storm. An unavoidable storm so strong my heart was wrecked. A storm I woudn't even suspect. Is this. what humans call "love?" I've heard it before. I never knew this would come to me. I never would've thought that i am still capable of loving someone and still capable of being loved.
