I've always written stories even as a child when I believed I couldn't do anything useful like math and competitive sports. Now stories weave in and out of my life with a furious power and I only use math for counting stitches. Put the small stuff in its place and soar with the spirit. Someone else can crunch the numbers.

My writing is a stir of genres -- mystery, suspense, romance, historical, with often the paranormal, fantasy or science fiction streamed in for added texture. Most novels are set in a place I've visited, researched and where I've felt a deep connection. Yes, I believe in reincarnation, ghosts, and unidentified flying objectives.  I believe the mantra 'write what you feel, not what you know' but it's always best to mix the two.

Other than writing, I love travel, and reading (of course). I have my own business which also includes publishing non-fiction to a subscribed audience and travel. 

 I have both library and English lit degrees plus a BEd but my default position is fiction writer, always. It's just that I've done many things to earn a living.

I just sound old. Really, I'm absurdly young.
