"A non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity." Franz Kafka

There's something magical about stories. Our ancestors wove tales over bonfires, and we, tapping at our tiny phones, carry on the sacred practice.

It's amazing, isn't it?

Okay, I'm glad to get that poetic rambling out of my system. Here are the goods on moi, if you're still interested.

My writing style: Punchy and sharp. I've tried writing flowy poetic dramas, but they read like the equivalent of cookware manuals. Descriptions are painful, and I like to go light on them.

I'm in love with superheroes. If I ever wake up with superpowers I'm becoming Spiderman, so heads up. I also love action, adventure, humor, and, uh, violence. Because seriously, when was there a time a story couldn't be made more awesome with oneliners and a badass fight scene?

Coffee is my fuel, Star Trek, my passion, and my cat, well, is my cat. Cats are awesome and I love them all (even though I'm covered in scratches).

I'm a devout feminist. I feel as a writer it's my duty to write stories that empower women. Literature is such a powerful medium and it's upsetting how helpless and one-dimensional women are often portrayed in books.

Anyway, these are the campaigns I support. They're awesome and boast some great books in their read lists, so check them out!
