Doina Ruști is a Romanian novelist known for her distinctive blend of fantasy, Balkan history and social realism. Her books have appeared in 40 translated editions across 18 languages.
She is the author of The Book of Perilous Dishes, The Ghost in the Mill, Zogru, Ferenike and the YA novels Platanos, The Wild Girl and Matuf, the Wigmaker.
