She stays quiet. She notices all of it. And yet she ignores it. She is in a prison. A prison where there are rules everytime. She should be at the top. She doesn't have any choice but to follow. She couldn't and shouldn't disappoint them. She was not free. She was not her true self. She couldn't do what she really want. She couldn't show what she truly felt. She haven't experience true happiness. She constantly escapes reality. Then, She found true happiness inside a book. Let us now open the book containing her story....

Illusion cheats on our eyes, as it does with the virtual perception. An illusion isn't virtual, although the virtual can be an illusion. It's not the threshold between unreal and real. It's the being inside a soap bubble which it gets popped. It wasn't there, yet the atmospheric emptiness is shortly present when the pin pins.

Little short story.

After losing her husband, Lucas, in a tragic accident, Nia's life crumbled into despair. Nothing could mend her grief, no logic could undo the past. Desperate and broken, she invested years to an impossible dream-creating a time machine to rewrite fate. The moment she activated it, the machine spiraled out of control, hurling her not to the moment of the accident, but twenty-three years into the past. Now, sixteen again, trapped in her old life, Nia faces an unexpected second chance. With knowledge of the future and the weight of regret pressing on her shoulders, she vows to change fate.
