~ "The Gods have very high expectations of you, Icarus." "What do you mean, dad?" "You will see, son, when the time has come and your wings have grown." ~ At birth, Icarus is given wings made entirely of wax by Zeus, the God of Thunder. His father, Daedalus, gets told that his son is to fulfill a task of great importance, as soon as he reaches the age of 18. When the time has come and Icarus' wings have grown strong enough, he is supposed to get told to succeed Hermes, Messenger of the Gods. But first, he has to learn how to fly. One day, during his daily training, Icarus flies away from a fight with his father and crosses the Border, ending up in the Cloudzone above Mt. Olympus, where he meets a young godess called Helia, better known as The Sun. They get along quite well and although Icarus and his wings can't take her heat, he starts to visit her more and more often. Slowly but steadily, the two fall in love. But will Icarus be able to keep this up, knowing his wings might get burnt? Will he be able to control them in time to complete the task he has been given? Or will this story end in fire?
