The Attic World is the place where all those long forgotten yet pivotal moments come together. It is the nexus of all those fantastic stories, marvellous characters, unforgettable monsters and impossible games (long dismissed as child’s play) that were lost and abandoned during our journey into adulthood. It is a fantasy world, in all senses of the expression, which exists and operates on its own magical, mythical terms. Only a room, but a world away. It is a place where anything could, would and more importantly should happen, the distilled essence of a child’s imagination. It is the classic quest: a search for self.

Enjoying this so far. Nicely written with excellent rhythm. Evokes emotions and a sense of childhood. Pity I have to go out for a hike.
