In 1977, amidst his arduous tasks of exterminating devils, Kishibe stumbled upon a defenseless child immersed in a gruesome bloodbath, where a family's home used to stand. Witnessing the dire situation of the youngster, he made the decision to temporarily take him in while seeking a new home.
However, fate had other plans in store for the child, whether for better or for worse.
Meanwhile, in some corner of the world, the Control Devil began to realize that, to reach the pinnacle, she had to surpass everyone else and attain perfection. Her goal was to conquer any obstacle, even shaping the world according to her will, regardless of the cost.
She would use anyone necessary to achieve her purpose, without hesitation or sparing resources.
This narrative immerses us in an alternate universe of Chainsaw Man, exploring the question: What would have happened if someone had hugged Makima when she was just ten years old?

Then they connected for real... a kiss, so tender, yet demanding to not break the contract, with a hint of desperation. Akihiko was the only human Makima ever looked at.
